I tried to logon last night from home to post my bets but couldn't remember my password!

I layed the 0-0 scoreline in the Derby v Norwich game £52.50 won £5. I also put £10 on Dagenham to beat Grimsby (they won 4-0) winning £8.60.

Bank now £113.60 against a target of £103.
 
Bank is now £39.62 against a target of £12.67, nearly backed the Gooners in play when they were 4-2 up. So glad I didn't!

I have taken an early price on the Scum to beat Hull at the weekend £50 to win £9.50

My target bank by Sunday is £116 but I would like to reach £130+ which will remove the temptation to bet everyday i.e. staying ahead of target and not chasing.
 
Right balance is now £47.44 versus a target of £13.05

I've been backing on average about 5 items a day including tennis, footie and snooker. Mainly in play bets where the result is minutes away but nailed on.

I've been averaging about 20% per day but as the pot rises, then so comes the risk of losing a higher amount with one of my all in in-play bets. So I'll probably start being more cautious from here on in as I'm well ahead of target.

In fact, if I continued at the current rate, then in 9 days time I'd have £800 in the pot! If I manage to be at £100 by this time next week then I'll be pleased and well ahead of target. I've also been helped by the fact that I'm off work and therefore can sit and bet during the day!

Do some of the more, er acomplished? Gamblers fancy sharing some of their tips and strategies so that I wont be out of it come 4:30 tomorrow, againnnnnnnnnnn.

Right, I'm starting this today.

Bank has started at £20. Bet £1 in play for Bolton to score next when it was 0-0. Balance is £22.60

Have made a spreadsheet to try document my results and keep me more disciplined. Have only got the first 8 weeks on it so far and the target for the end of week 8 is £101.64. Does this sound right?

This is my aim for now. Will work out more if i last that long!
 
Got back from gym to see the Maritimo - National game at 2-0.. chucked £4 on 2.5 goals or more at 4/9 and the rest of my bank (16.70 i think it was) on the win at 1/20. 3rd Goal in, so thats all good. Just need B'ham to pull their thumb out

Ended the day at £21.87 against a target of £21.22.

Bets for tomorrow are

£5 on Inter Milan Away Win @ 1/2 (1/3)
£5 on Barcelona Home Win @ 1/12 (1/3)
£4 on a double of the above

That probably doesnt make much sense and would be better to put less on one of the results. But patience is not one of my attributes.
 
Well I had a nightmare last Friday. Needed to go out and saw that Nadal and Fed were playing, so ignoring my own advice of betting in play once the result looks good, I backed Nadal on reputation and lost the fucking lot as he pulled out injured after a set.

Still, it proves that my original tactic works and I'll be starting again tonight. Only took me 9 days to get to £50 before.

Was away for the weekend and not able to get on here - I actually ended up winning £14.25 on United's win.

Bank @ £132 against a target of £123 by tonight.

I am away for 6 days from Thursday so hopefully will remember my password for this site before I go (my office computer has inputs the password automatically).

I'm off and running again.

£10 on 1 or more goals in the Bremen game to win 38p.

Balance is £10.38 v target of £10.30

I'll be backing some of the tennis in play today.
 
Put my massive total of £7 ish on Obama to win at massive odds of 1/10

Thinking i migh go for a double/treble to try and get near my target before it starts to spiral away!

Lyon V Steaua Bucharest Lyon to win @ 4/11
Newry v Ards Newry to win @ 8/13

Double.. £8.66 returns £19ish
 
Is William Hill always so slow to pay out on winning bets?

it has marked the lyon game down as won but says that newry is "open" even though it finished about half an hour ago.

It did this the other day with another game i had bet on. very frustrating

I've had to start again! Bloody Arsenal v Fenebace did me.

First up 2 or more goals in Celtic game @ 1.2 = win. Rolled the lot on to us to win @ 1.25

Bank of 30.03 against a target of 24.60. Not bad going considering I was down to 7.50ish a couple of days ago!

had £28 on ajax to win and a £2 accumulator on 5 games with the shortest odds (a lot of skill in this one)


EDIT - put the lot on Fulham to win in the 89th minute.. got 1.03! haha

Thats your 3% right there. However, be careful, you only need a late goal and you're scuppered. Try backing teams 2 up with under 20 to go. If your pot gets into the hundreds the last thing you want is to lose it all on a last minute equaliser - and I've done that in the past.
 
yer, has had me shitting myself.

chucked the whole pot on gremio with 5 mins left.. that left me with £47.02 and just put that all on AC in the 86th minute.

Got a bit of a bug for it at the moment but if my bank starts to build i'll be a lot more stringent (is that the right word?!) with my bets
