What a memorable moment that was. More poignant than Alonso's penalty or Garcia's phantom. Just an awesome strike.

How good would it be for him to repeat it in a couple of nights?

Almost fitting that we're in pretty much the exact same position tomorrow night, has Gerrard run an interview were he says he doesn't want to wake up in the Europa league yet?

Picture the scene. 90 minutes of stalemate, Raheem's 4th minute tap-in cancelled by a Glen Johnson own goal. The ball falls to Lambert, lovely cushioned header to... Gerrard! who sidefoots it straight at the keeper

Liverpool are out

..Lucas, who buries it in the top corner, to the ecstasy of every Liverpool fan except those who frequent sixcrazyminutes, who instead are full of trepidation at the prospect of a partially troll ridden night of intense debate with Modo about what Lucas' brings to the team

I was in a taxi, and my arsenal supporting brother called me to tell me about te game. Even he was Delirah and excirah. Said it was a corker of a game.

My Dad was also a gooner (as I was typing that, the predictive text gremlin tried to change it to "goner"). They do have a strange lingo, don't they? 😉

I was working in the students union. The only people in the bar were all Liverpool fans. Me and another member of staff, another Liverpool fan, just watched the match instead of doing any work. Any time anyone wanted a drink we went and got them it then went back to the match.
