[article]Though Toure featured n a Man City side that beat a Klopp-led Liverpool to the 2017/18 title, the pair are still in communication and remain friends away from football. "Klopp, when he wins games, I text him and he is delighted and he always invites me (to meet him) and texts me back," Toure told The Times. "Does this guy rest? I don’t think so, he loves football. He’s a top, top, guy."[/article]

Ahead of BT Sport Films' latest documentary, The Boot Room Boys, lead singer of The Farm, Peter Hooton sat down with Jürgen Klopp to talk about Anfield's famous four walls.

The Reds boss discusses his knowledge of the Boot Room's legacy, what makes the club and Liverpool as a city so special to him and why he sees his current coaching team as a reloaded version of the Boot Room.

I remember when Jurgen called Jose the laziest footballer he had ever seen... I'm kind of surprised he was never bitter over the comments
He doesn’t seem to be the brightest of players and probably didn’t realise.

Klopp:
‘The city is big enough for two clubs. The real one, and the other one.’
LOL

[article]Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is happy seeing Jurgen Klopp's team thriving this season.

The Perth Glory striker spoke to BBC Radio this morning.

He said, "It's been a huge success in terms of the performances, the attacking, the defending. They've got huge depth within the squad which has enabled the manager to rotate when needed, the pose opposition different problems.

"Everyone talks about the quadruple and the opportunity they have there to create history. For me in the season, they've started so well and they're at the business end of the season now and I think that if they win a couple of three trophies then that is a success. If they do the quadruple then it's an even bigger success. The players will know what the task is at hand and what they have to do to achieve those things and the manager will be doing everything possible to get the boys prepared for that."

On what it's like to work with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Sturridge continued: "Fantastic, he gets the best out of the players, he sets the team up very well, on and off the pitch everybody knows their roles, everybody knows what the expectations are of not only him but representing Liverpool Football Club.

"He's done an absolutely amazing job. Since he's joined the club they've been in final after final, challenging for Premier Leagues and I think everybody should be happy and grateful for the ownership to put in faith and finding Jurgen as the manager and helping the club move forward on a whole."[/article]

Look, I don't wanna be all ITK on this because I'm not... But I was with a few people this evening who seemed to know that klopp has just agreed a substantial extension to his contract.

Disclaimer: I'm third party to this information

Reason to get excited: The info came from very credible people, who work with the team on a medical consultancy basis and have no reason to lie.

You do know that you'll be hunted down if this is wrong

This would be so insanely good. Thought about it during the game yesterday. We are so fortunate to have him as our manager. Cant even bare to think about the day when he has managed his last game for us.

Good on yer Studge.

One of Jürgen's earliest games was away at Chelsea. He got animated about something that happened on the pitch and the Chelsea coaching bench had a go at him over it - I reckon they thought they'd try and browbeat the newbie. Mistake. This six foot whatever couldn't-give-a-rat's German guy didn't give two shiny sh!tes but stood there and had a right go back. After that brilliant "doubter to believer" line in his first interview, this sealed the deal for me. I knew we had the right man.

What happened to the opportunist thread that started last year about whether Klopp had lost the support of the players? Would like a read of it now.
