Sakho has to be fourth choice at this point. Other three have the best chance at the two spots. Lovren has been up and down over his two seasons and the other two are unknowns in this league. Hopefully we can find a partnership that gels and solidify a back four - but which two will be in that centre pairing is really unknown at this point.

I have no doubt Matip will be first choice – unless something goes horribly wrong with his adaptation here. He is a complete package in terms of skill, intelligence and leadership and can vastly improve our aerial presence both in defense and attack.
As for his partner, probably Lovren has an edge over both Sakho and Klavan at the moment, but everything can still change. Personally I'd like to see how Sakho looks in a partnership with Matip – maybe the cerebral and professional style of Matip can rub off on Mama and make him calmer and more consistent.

I don't think there's any doubt that Matip is #1 in Klopp's mind. Who starts against Arsenal will be another matter. Klopp also likes CBs that can bring the ball out of defence, and that's all but Ragnar, even Gomez.
That said this is the PL and a powerful defender and header of the ball (who can contribute at a both ends) may be just want we want when we consider how we concede the majority of our goals (set pieces). I won't rule Ragnar out, he may prove to be a surprisingly astute signing.
