There's probably already a thread, but I cant find it.

Yesterday I bought a ticket for the CL match next week. With my membership level the next step is just to download the ticket to Google Pay on my phone (dont know if that is how everyone does it)

Anyway, ticket became active just recently so I went to download, using Chrome as the club suggests, and when I try to login to my account it puts me in a queue of 6500 to just log in so I can get my own bloody ticket.

I know there is a ticket sale going on, but what is the point of making me queue when I am not buying just accessing a ticket I have already paid for? I'm not worried, as there was time enough, but if this was Wednesday afternoon I'd be going frantic now.

    *end*

From memory you may have to tick a box or similar to allow you to activate NFC tickets but don't quote me on it.
And yes, I've been drinking again.

Don't use NFC. If doesn't work. Neither does the barcode unless you screenshot it and drag it from the worst possible place on your phone (the middle) and shove it right up your end

You need to download Google or Apple pay then open the ticket thingy they emailed you in that. Then you get the options.

I've done all that ... Google Pay. I think the nfc just isn't live yet on it. Maybe when/If it does activate the print option will too.
I'm not too worried anyway. My mates lad says he'll text tony barrett if I still have problems Monday... friends in high places

My phone holds its charge for about 4 hrs these days, which is also a worry. But I have a shiny new work phone that I might use just for this

I know you are all desperately awaiting an update as you feel fro me in my current plight :)

The option to download the NFC pas is still not enabled, so I logged into the online support chat to try & check on it. I joined just after 10am and was 86 in the queue to get dealt with and got a message saying someone would be with me in 5 minutes. I got all the way down to 6, stuck there for 30 minutes and have been at 5 for the last 20. I keep getting inundated with periodic messages saying they are currently pushing NFC passes to members/ST holders for this match, so I suspect that is the issue for me, but I'm going to hang on regardless. I fully expect that at 4pm they will shut up shop when I am position 2 in the queue. Its lucky I am the boss at work so I can do this all day :)

The option of going to the ground 3 hours early is only possible if I can persuade RyanAir to fly over Anfield and supply me with a parachute.

Oh and when I tired to login earlier to check the status, I was once again put in the queue for buying tickets as it happens to be the same section of the website. Its like going for a piss at a concert and having to join the queue for the ladies.

Its amazing how the club can consistently put on shitshows like this

Hang on - I've just moved to 4 in the queue ...

I've noticed the queing system - i get the impression they are trying to limit traffic on the site at times when people might be balloting or something

I got to 2 in the queue then the chat system crashed on me. When I try to rejoin it just says they are closed to new chats

yayyy, I do love this club

I'm still reasonably confident the NFC will become active, but what a pain this is ...

The ticket becomes another item in your google/apple wallet. Do you have the PDF that has download instructions? If so - there is an image halfway down the PDF that is a clickable hyper link and this adds it to your phone

Its slightly different for me as it is not a member/ST sale. I got the email when I bought the ticket and these were the instructions:
    1. Using your smartphone, log into My Account
    2. Select the "Tickets" option and follow the online instructions
When I do that, I get the below (where you can see the option to download is not enabled). I have Google Pay installed, and NFC on, and I am accessing the webpage using Chrome
