Sack Race 22/23

Not open for further replies.
Why can't spurs just keep Ryan Mason? And maybe bring in Giggs to help?
With any luck, Giggs will be behind bars before long.

They'll probably end up with Rafa....proper desperate for a job him, he'd 100% accept if Levy came calling.

Surely we will have seen the last of Frank Lampard as Manager after his Chelsea stint. He is absolutely dreadful.

Not fair he's managed to take home 800k thus far for the job he's done, when literally any of us here could've done at the very least the same job he's done and only commanded 80k.

Appointing newly retired ex-players as managers (especially in the Prem) often doesn't work, but I have to admit I thought Lampard might be an exception. He's a bright guy - for a footballer anyway - and I thought he'd be better equipped to handle the job than many of them are. Good thing I didn't put any money on it.

Should get along just fine.....fiesty meets feisty, not sure what could possibly go wrong.

Well, he's going to learn to press for Bielsa or he won't be playing.
He will be playing, Jurgen's demand of pressing is very different to what Bielsa would want.

Plus do you really see a 36 year olds in Cavani or Suarez being able to bring that over Nunez? He's Uruguay's only other main forward threat.

Man, is it worth reflecting that we're the only club who doesn't want to sack a manager after a purple patch?

All this means is that Pep will want to stay another year at City after Klopp leaves us just to ensure he holds that record too.

Man, is it worth reflecting that we're the only club who doesn't want to sack a manager after a purple patch?

On a sidenote, Mark Robins has signed a new 4 yr contract, announced on the same day of their 2nd leg play off semi finals match - will be a decade at Coventry if he sees out this new contract.

PSV coach Ruud van Nistelrooij resigns with immediate effect (won Dutch Super Cup & Dutch Cup, 1 league game left - in 2nd place and 3 pts ahead of Ajax for last CL qualification spot)

Of the 31 leagues games he was in charge of, there was an average of 4.03 goals per match (125 goals - scored + conceded combined).

Wonder if Van Kneestillsore's been tapped up by Feyenoord who seems as thought they might lose Arne Slot to Tottenham.

Both the Feyenoord and Celtic manager have rejected Spurs approach. Talk about a club slipping further into mediocracy.
