PL Opposition tidbits

Those Chinese will shit on anything.
My contribution(s) is on there too (well no I flung it over the side) though I hasten to add I was walking the 'Wild Wall' for 8 days, the sections that have not been maintained and are falling to pieces, totally dilapidated (which constitutes about 99% of it).

These three blog posts on my website if anyone's interested. About halfway through the second post below you'll find incredible footage of the Wild Wall where I was climbing (not mine unfortunately) which is absolutely worth checking out (hope you keep your dinner down) :

Lot of draws, finding the current PL such a bore lately. The quality of the overall football is so much lower than Klopp v Pep days. Jurgen did the right thing leaving, footy is an over saturated bore fest with too many games and average expensive footballers about.

Everton: An Everton-supporting pensioner has been banned from the club’s new ground after appearing in court charged with theft from Goodison Park, according to the Liverpool Echo. Following Everton’s penultimate home game of the season against Ipswich in May, he and other match-going co-conspirators are alleged to have tried to liberate and steal a row of seats from Goodison Park as mementos.

The man in question, who I won’t name in the interests of sparing him further blushes, had his charges dropped after it was revealed in court that he had reached an informal resolution with the Everton to make a donation to their charity. He has also been banned from their new stadium until at least the end of this season. Upon hearing about the ban, Judge Neil Flewitt KC wryly observed that this “may or may not be a punishment”.

In their endless quest to keep up with the neighbours, Man Utd uncover another potential player with a name that sounds a bit like Haaland

Sporting's Morten Hjulmand, 26, has emerged as Manchester United's prime target to strengthen their midfield and the Premier League club are optimistic of securing the Dane for about £50m

Cracking result for Dyche and Forest beating Porto 2-0 (both were pens). Porto slipping to their first defeat of the season - the visitors had previously won 10 of their opening 11 games

Shocker for Palace (strong team) after winning away at Kiev they lose at home to Larnaca (shots 15-4) ! And also for Villa losing 2-1 away at Go Ahead Eagles (NL) despite winning the shot count 18-5 (and missed a penalty).

That's crazy. Look at Arsenal's position in Goals (17th) and xG (8th) from open play and % of play from Open Play (20th) and % xG from Open Play (19th). Their rise is pretty much ALL based on set pieces. It's horrible to see the way it seems the PL is devolving into this across the board.

We’ve entered an era where it’s all massive grocks when we went down the technical route.

As a watch for neutral, watching the towel come out for another long throw in is a bore. PL this season even when we were winning was a total bore.

Set piece FC for a reason, the Prem is a total sham. Football in this country, much like everything else, is down in the gutter.

Football is shit, crowds are shit, refs are shit, managers are shit, players are shit, stadiums are shit, the whole build up before kick off is shit, everything is shit.

Anyone who says the Prem is the best league in the world are liars and they have no understanding of what football is all about.

Losers complain, winners go home and fuck the prom queen.

Stop bitching about how others play. Let's start getting points on the board.
