Have to say I've underestimated the extent of Mourinho's decline as a manager and as a person. He used to be a great man-manager; look at him now. At this rate I'm not sure even the Portugal national team will want him – they have too many good and proud young players who would benefit from a proper coach, not someone who will make it all about himself and throw the players under the bus at the first sign of failure. Only reason that pen wasn't given was it would have meant sending off blockhead, as he made NO attempt to play the ball. Was simply intent on nudging/impeding Welbeck in a way that wouldn't look like a blatant foul, after he was caught on his heels.
