All the reds standing on the Kop say

Score like an Egyptian

(To Walk like an Egyptian, obviously!)

that is so fucking bad.

Super, Salah
Give us a Goal

Super, Salah
Give us a Goal

Way down at Goodison Park
Give us a goal

Even at the Old Fart
Give us a goal

SUPER, SALAH
GIVE US A GOAL

*To the tune of Go Down Moses, needs a bit of tweaking.. or a lot actually.. okay, it's crap, but I am just too excited to care, WE HAVE SIGNED A PACY GOALMACHINE WINGER, MAYBE!

Tweaking? It needs to be killed with fire.

Still, at least we've got the Arab Messi.

Hope he turns out to be an inspired signing, like our existing pacy goal machine winger, Sadio Mane. Having another player as quick, dangerous and good at finishing as him would be a great start for the next phase of Klopp's rebuilding job.

I was thinking he was a good fit for the SG song, but decided to be more adventurous. Nice use of ancient Egyptian gods though.

Mohamed Salah has been a target for Liverpool since Brendan Rodgers' days
Roma have agreed a deal in principle to sell Mohamed Salah to Liverpool for a fee close to £35m, Sky sources understand.
The Reds have been involved in protracted talks over the 24-year-old, who has already agreed personal terms in principle with the Merseyside club.
Liverpool had an initial bid of £28m rejected earlier this month, but Salah met with Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool as discussions continued between the clubs.

Jurgen Klopp has been taking a central role in Liverpool's transfer business
Salah has been a long-term Liverpool target and he almost moved to Anfield in January 2014 when Brendan Rodgers was manager.
At the time, Liverpool were in advanced talks to sign him from Basel but he joined Chelsea in a £11m deal instead, where it did not work out for the forward.
He would go on to make only 19 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club and had spells on loan with Fiorentina and Roma, who he joined on a permanent deal in August 2016.
Salah was a regular starter as Roma finished runners-up to Juventus last season, scoring 15 goals in 31 league appearances.

So I'm assuming he will play on the left of a front three?

Not necessarily. He's just as likely to play on the left or to play in a fluid front three system. I wouldn't be surprised (and you won't like this) if Firmino regularly occupies the position you have marked 'new striker'.

Neither would I

I'm not holding out much hope for the "newCM" player either.

I'd b very surprised if Wijnaldum and Firmino aren't in Klopp's starting XI more often than not.

I am also slightly worried that we won't be signing a new striker now - we might not need it if Salah is a potent as some believe he is and his numbers in Italy suggests, I'd love a real striker still though.

I wouldn't let him have the no.9 shirt as 1) he's not a striker and 2) aspas and benteke have had in recent times so it's a bad omen

If we get all three I'll eat my fucking hat.

Would sir like mayonnaise with his hat?

Yeh, it's big bucks, but I seriously think we're gonna go all in for the other two and pay what it takes. Not what I would do, as the price for Vvd is just stupid already.

Red Bull Leipzig look set to be banned from the Champions League. That could, and should, boost our chances of signing him.
I heard that around the end of the season, however their name made all the preliminary CL Pot lists so I assumed they had got away with it and UEFA had bent over. Where did you hear otherwise ?

This is like getting turned down by that fit girl in college, because she fancies that chav prick with the greasy quiff, the tan and the rich parents. She finally realises after a few years that he's a selfish, thick twat with no soul.

So you meet her years later and she's lowered her aspirations and pretends she fancied you all along.

I mean, come on, fucking wake up.
