Midfielders other than Bellingham

Has it been established that Mac Allister has a release clause that is not too pricey?
apparently he doesn't, but i imagine they might sell him as he's older than caicedo, who's value is only going to go up

Neil Jones's article doesn't really paint us as having a clear plan.

Jurgen Klopp was keen to keep him at Anfield for another season, there were no formal talks between Milner and club officials, with Brighton making a convincing pitch to the veteran, who will now join up with ex-Reds teammate Adam Lallana at the Amex Stadium next season. Liverpool, GOAL understands, recently asked Milner to reconsider his decision to leave, but the deal with Brighton is now virtually complete.

I bet Klopp has never deleted the numbers of any of his exes.

The song writes itself.

Ugarte be bad, Ugarte be bold, Ugarte be wiser
Ugarte be hard, Ugarte be tough, Ugarte be stronger
Ugarte be cool, Ugarte be calm, Ugarte stay together

That just hit me like the start of an episode of quantum leap… straight back to the 90’s

Lee Kang-In is attracting interest from West Ham, has a release a clause of €17m. @King Binny mentioned him.
I like the way he plays, but He plays in Spain doesn't speak Portuguese so which rules us out.

caciedo is an absolute monster, and worth the extra 20 we will have to pay
we then get a certain success

If we get Mac, Mount and Gravenberch, i'm not devastated. I just want a more rounded DM

And a CB

Kocku? He and Ali Mac are very similar.

Arsenal and Utd eyeing him too.

Hopefully we wrap up our midfield signings early, and Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea can have their hunger games. Spunkfest for Caicedo. Count me out.

We absolutely need to get our deals done within the first few days of the window for me. It sets the stall out early, and avoids all the messiness

Plenty of players around Europe available, it's whether the club has the imagination to look beyond Germany, Holland, England and Portugal? Take Lee Kang-In a better CAM than Elliott, with a buy-out Clause of £15m. I'm sure there's probably the next Kante somewhere in Belgium or France we could probably get for under £20m. Brazil still has quite a few gems like André Trinidad and Tobago.

His name is Andre 3000, have some respect.

We need to scout.
Bellingham 100M+ - No.
Caicedo - 70M - No.
MacAllister - 70M - No.
Paulinho - 45M - No.
We can't do that, especially as we need more than 1 great midfielder. We need under-the-radar jobbies.

Keita cost £50M and has been on £120k a week for 5 years. That must be the best part of £80M. 80 million pounds. Is he our worst signing ever?

Ok, so given the problems we have had with Fabinho this season, i am guessing we will not be letting him go. So this postion still needs help, and assuming we get Alexis, then do we consider also hiring a caicedo type of player as well ? For me despite all the great qualities a player may have i also like to think that spendin 80M on destroyer role is too much. Now from around Europe i would like that guy Manu Kone is he cheaper than caicedo ? Hope so, I see Kone as someone who is in the same class of French young players of the Camavinga, and Touchoumaini (spelling sorry). So given we are one of the poorest clubs in Europe my midfielders are:

1) Alexis
2) Kone
3) Gravenb..
4) JWP

Numbers 1 and 2 at least have PL experience and are engine types. As for number 3 ...i dont know what to expect but if Bayern were interested then he cant be a bad bargain, i am sure Klopp.will make an player out of him.

But if the avive proves too expensive, and/ or we fail then I guess we are left with the following

1) Matheus Nunes, instead of Alexis, note I heard today that Man City are very much sniffing around Alexis and may come in and take him off us, he seems ideal replacement for Gundo for them. With CL+big contract, he is likely to chose them over us.

2) that freebee flabby looking player from Leicester instead JWP

Note that I think we can afford Kone and Gravernb..

What you guys think of my first 4 dream, and nightmare alternatives ?
