January Window Speculation

@Woland - do you understand what is going on between Klopp and FSG ? - is there a major conflict of some kind - those quotes are just strange shit. It's like he knows we are fucked, but likes the idea of seeing us fucked or he is going to get a fuck stopper in to stop us from getting fucked. This is all just going wrong this transfer window.

You're seriously overcomplicating this whole issue. Despite some on here doubting it, Klopp clearly knows that we need to strengthen further, and every manager/owner relationship - every single one - will involve the manager pushing for more resources while the owner(s) try to strike a balance between that and what they can/want to shell out. Do yourself a favour and calm down.

I've got no idea about anything. I was just commenting on his quote.

How's that work with Lacazette?
Lacazette will be on the left, Mkhi(can't spell his name) on the right with Auba(can't spell his either) through the middle of a 3 im guessing. Lacazette has good link up play and likes cutting in from the left anyway.

The Chavs are apparently enquiring about him. I'm not his biggest fan either but he has to be a better bet for them than Carroll or Crouch.

BALAGUE SAYS...
ALL DONE! @Aubameyang7 will be #AFC player pending medical. Fixed fee of £53m with £2.5m adds on if major trophies won, pass CL group stage (so pays itself). Wages not even half what Alexis wanted. Not the only deal #AFC working on

So another of our attacking options ( albeit a sicknote ) going out and still no word of incomings. FSG are truly useless.

Klopp: "In the long term we will do a lot (of transfers). In the short term I dont think we will do a lot"

Klopp just reiterated 'No Jan replacement for Coutinho'

On Sturridge:"lot will happen in the transfer market in the next few days and we will see what happens here. If it was something that didn't help us or Daniel or another club to make the deal, it makes no sense."

Eerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Giroud wants more first team football, which he wouldn't get here.

Also loath to take players our rivals have upgraded on.

Worked out with sturridge (initially)

But yeah. Agree overall

Sturridge and players like him are different - young players with potential sidelined in favour of managers favourites or big money signings.

Giroud is 31 and we all know what he's about. Good but not great, which is why Arsenal don't play him regularly.

An attacking option we're barely using at all though, and we have numerous others, albeit they played like drains in the last game.

The "Torygraph" Midlands sport correspondent has appaz tweeted that West Brom (of all teams) are in for Sturridge as well now.
