Cost us the Palace game and that miss at 0-0 cost us the CL game.
He owes us a match winner against Chelsea.
Yes. If he didn’t get himself sent off we beat Palace. Swings and roundabouts with form and at the moment he’s the form player and stupidly caused to have to shuffle the deck.Wait what? It was our only good player's fault. That's an interesting take.
You’re saying if he had been available for Palace, we absolutely would have won?Yes. If he didn’t get himself sent off we beat Palace. Swings and roundabouts with form and at the moment he’s the form player and stupidly caused to have to shuffle the deck.
I believe so yes. You’re saying if he had been available for Palace, we absolutely would have won?
Fair play, but I think it’s a little bit of a stretch to say we absolutely would have won.I believe so yes.
Absolutely he should. Idiotic.I think you can probably put some of the blame on the two 100m+ attackers as well as the 450k a week one. I mean obviously the one guy who wasn't playing should take all the blame though.
With every start I get more confused to why we signed Isak.
Because we needed two strikers, one with pedigree from the league. There was No guarantee how Ekitike would adaptWith every start I get more confused to why we signed Isak.
Now plot that on a 7 year timeline !Having one boss one and an unfit/injured one isn’t.
You want me to list ALL of Isak’s injuries? That’s a long list. Now plot that on a 7 year timeline !
We lost Nunez, Jota and Diaz. I don't see any issues with 2 in the door. Especially with their versatility (both can play LW too). What would you expect us to do with 60+ matches a year and only one CF?! And if he's injured (cf. Isak)? He is here, and I can plot his lack of fitness and injuries quite easily. I can also point to him being part of the unbalance in our team. None of that changes my confusing on why we signed another forward, for a record breaking fee, when we had someone else already through the door. We have replaced Nunez twice and not Jota.
How can we get both in the same side and squeeze in Salah plus Wirtz? I think that’s impossible if you want a functioning side.
Not buying Isak doesn’t mean we don’t buy anyone. That money could’ve got Guehi over the line and added a DM, LW and back-up forward. We lost Nunez, Jota and Diaz. As for the price. To me that's immaterial. We wanted a top CF and a player whose trajectory suggests he could be a top CF. We got two. Whoopee !
Because we signed Isak for post salah times? I thought that was obvious? I don’t think I am wrong there. He is here, and I can plot his lack of fitness and injuries quite easily. Salah is here for another season and three quarters. Isak was proven in a side that plays completely different to us so was also somewhat a wild card.Because we signed Isak for post salah times? I thought that was obvious? I don’t think I am wrong there.
And as I said above, Isak proven in the league, Hugo more of a wild card in how long adaptation would take.
