Sky saying Everton about to sack Silva and Moyes or Howe most likely replacement

Oh how I’d laugh!

I'd like to hope Eddie Howe has more sense than to take a move like that. As for Moyes, despite all the winner/not a winner stuff he did a good job there. It feels like an awful long time ago now though.

It was 4/7 this morning mate. Not sure what it is now.

Ive heard Silva is gone and hes the replacement till end of season.

Yeah I heard Moyes was going to be coming back if and when Silva was sacked. Odds probably all gone now.

Howe couldn't settle in Burnley for family reasons so I assume he won't be going Everton

Moyes did all right there.
It would be a decent short-term move by them.

He did, but going back to a previous club often doesn't work out. Everton themselves have spectacularly failed to make it work before with Howard Kendall, albeit a long time ago.

Would be interesting to see how Moyes gets on with a big bag of cash there. To be fair to him, he got them punching well above their weight (playing shit football) consistently when he was there with very little money. I thought they might be looking at bigger names, that would have been higher risk.

Yes, this is often the case.
Like going back to the ex, in a sense.

I do hope you aren't trying to insinuate that Liverpool is as fucking grim as BURNLEY

Thats coz he was a massive Alcoholic. Was very sad to serve him in the local shop I worked in. A regular visitor for a bottle of Whiskey or two.

A real shame, he was a nice guy.

There's a Manager Update Special Edition from Grand Old Team in the "Other forum Meltdown" Thread.

Illuminating as ever

Howe would be a decent appointment for them, IMO, but I'm not convinced he'd take it.

He would get more money, but there's not much stability there and you have an overly ambitious and impatient fan-base, which is the complete opposite of what he's got at Bournemouth.

He would definitely go. He's an Everton fan and it's an obvious step up the ladder. I'd argue he should've made a move like that a year or two ago. He's taken Bournemouth as far as he can. Let's hope he takes Solanke with him, though.

Just driven past Woodison and kept an eye out for white smoke out of the chimney. Could be Kenwright burning the receipts though...
