    Article: The Organizing Committee of the Africa Cup of Nations has unveiled the mascot for the tournament, which runs from June 21 to July 19 in Egypt.

    The tournament’s official Facebook account published a video of the new mascot under the comment: “After a long journey. It has finally arrived. Welcome with us our special host in the 2019 Africa Cup  # Egypt_2019 #”.

    Mohamed Fadl, the director of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations revealed the official tournament mascot, which represents a child wearing an Egyptian shirt and a pharaonic outfit, his foot on the official championship’s ball.

    Another strike against Klopp. Can't even bring home the AFCON trophy when everyone considered us favourites. We didn't even qualify apparently!

    Tau's a lovely little player. Wonderful left foot. Was voted player of the year in Belgium this season

    We've actually got a decent squad this time around...not sure how they're going to perform though. It's been ages since we've qualified for a tournament without being the hosts

    Erasmus & Furman ... I read up on the two 'waiting for passport kids' - seems interesting.  Tbh, they should be looking for these ops just like the English cricket team look to pinch all our cricket players!  :-D

    He's currently on loan from Brighton.
    Wonder if their new coach will give him a chance in the EPL next season. Can't be any worse than some of their forwards this season.
