This could be the unofficial Euro U21 thread of 6CM where we can share our thoughts on some of the talents of the future as they play along.

Denmark's 23 players have just been named.

Jeppe Højbjerg, Esbjerg fB
Thomas Hagelskjær, AGF
Daniel Iversen, Leicester City
Andreas Maxsø, FC Nordsjælland
Patrick Banggaard, Darmstadt
Jakob Blåbjerg, AaB
Joachim Andersen, FC Twente
Frederik Holst, Brøndby IF
Rasmus Nissen, FC Midtjylland
Mads 'Mini' Pedersen, FC Nordsjælland
Christian Nørgaard, Brøndby IF
Lasse Vigen Christensen, Fulham FC
Casper Nielsen, OB
Mathias Jensen, FC Nordsjælland
Emiliano Marcondes, FC Nordsjælland
Frederik Børsting, AaB
Andrew Hjulsager, Celta Vigo
Lucas Andersen, Grashoppers
Robert Skov, Silkeborg IF
Mikkel Duelund, FC Midtjyllland
Marcus Ingvartsen, FC Nordsjælland
Kenneth Zohore, Cardiff City

Kasper Junker, AGF

I've highlighted the ones we might wanna give a closer look, which is not me saying we should be in for them, only take notice and follow their progress closer than the others.

*Pione Sisto (Celta), Kasper Dolberg (AJAX), Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (Soton), Viktor Fischer (Boro), Andreas Christensen (Chelsea), Riza Durmisi (Betis), Jacob Bruun Larsen (Dortmund) and Yussuf Poulsen (RB Leipzig) are the names you won't be seeing in Poland this Summer (not playing in this tournament at least) for one reason or another.

Are there any other squads announced as of yet? Please share.

Ah maybe we'll get to see a bit of Grujic...

How is Gaya getting on these days? He was meant to be all the rage a season or two ago...

Fuck me. European championship. In South Korea.
I'm just going to leave it there and cop whatever deserved criticism comes my way.

The one in Korea right now is the FIFA World Cup for U20s.
The UEFA U21 European Championships is in Poland.

It's a great idea though, that UEFA will undoubtedly now explore in their hunt for more $$$$$$$££££££€€€€€€€€

It's a shit idea if the U21 World Cup attendances are anything to go by - nice stadiums with lots of empty seats. Of course it isn't helped by the fact that most of these games are played in the late afternoons / evenings during Asia office hours (i.e. early / late morning office hours in Europe). If they had to play these games for European night hours, they'd have to stage these games at 2am or 3am in Asia. Eh....

His turns are a thing of beauty. Needs to make other parts of his game stronger. According to MrBoywunder he wasn't injured at the end, the match just ended soon after that tackle.

Those turns...Plays like he's been hanging with Lallana a lot.

Lots of neat and effective turns but he lost the ball a number of times for South Korea to counter attack dangerously.

Similar to Can, he beats the first man and then puts his head down, playing like an 11 year old pretending he's Weah.

I'd like to see him vary his passing distance a bit more. He has the ability to really make things happen and control tempo, but lacks that long outlet pass. He is very impressive in tight spaces but 95% of the time he'll play the short pass, looking for a 1-2. Teams will set up traps and will catch him out, leaving gaping holes in the middle.

I like him, but he needs to improve his tackling, aggression & decision making to push for a first team role.

He lost it 3 times in what the commentator described as the MOTM performance. And he's 19 years old not 23-24, all youngsters try to do too much. He was actually very aggressive in the tackle with some tremendous wins however as for the passing and 1-2s well that could be just what the coach had asked for versus S.Korea, we have no idea of what tactics were being employed. I don't remember a lot of that in his 1st team appearances but then you'd expect him to be a little reserved in his first matches for us.

He was very unlucky to get injured last season just when he seemed to be becoming a regular in the 1st Team squad. Hopefully he can push on again this season because there is a LOT to like.

I was totally focused on Ejaria but was that Ojo who also looked like he had a decent game ? Bit greedy with one shot he should have crossed but hit the post twice ?
