Shit I read that as saying Sané for a second. Not sure if it's e or é.

Firmino and Wijnaldum need a good display and a goal tonight, with pressure on them from returning players

Firmino in particular has been mediocre for weeks, so it would be a good time for him to start performing and scoring again, given his disappointing scoring record

Mignolet will also be keen to make a good impression.

Good to see Klopp finally relegate Lucas to fourth choice centre back, but Klavan will need to show his lack of pace isn't severe enough to derail his Liverpool career

Mane is our best player and I hope he can use that electric pace and skill to add to his goal tally

Great to see Studge back on the bench again as well

As for this game, I don't think it's particularly complicated, we need to get at Everton and score and kill off the game quickly, if we don't do that Everton and their crowd will grow into the game and things will get more and more difficult for us.

Vociferous aggressive crowd as always. Match has started at a hundred miles an hour as a result of that noise bleeding onto the pitch.

Could do with a period of calm possession to temper that.

As usual, Everton playing like it's a cup final. They haven't pressed & pushed like this once this season when I've seen them.

Poor touch that Firmino, shouldn't be turning the pace on there & risking losing it in the centre of the pitch.

We don't normally play like that, no point being forced into it tonight.

So, unfortunately, we've started like dickheads, hopefully we can weather this storm and gain some control of the match over the next 5-10 minutes.
