Mine is a Chinese app that I can hardly understand but I know the routine without being able to decipher the Chinese text. If I receive any undesirable phone calls (e.g. real estate agents, cold selling, random shite), I just copy and paste the number into the app. - it will then tell me how many other people have blocked this number and ask me if I want to block it too ? Some of the numbers have thousands of people blocking them, some just a handful, I've blocked 65 numbers so far and it's a sanity saver !
Others I love are survival and hiking apps, navigation (especially Motion-X GPS), Apple & Google maps, Trip Advisor, some Shanghai specific apps (metro, air quality etc.), some travel apps (Flight Aware, Seat Guru), WeChat (like What's App - we use WeChat for free video chats with our daughter from wherever we are, also great for voice messages, sending video and pics), and some Photography apps (Photopills, TrueDoF, Light Meter, Golden Hour, Trigger Trap). ESPN SportsCentre, SkyMap, Genius Lists (for grocery lists) and Shazam get some use too. I almost never play games.
