I fucked my back up completely a few weeks back chopping downed wood from a snowstorm. I didn't realise what I had done till a day later. I wasn't that surprised given my awful slumpy posture.
It's been steadily improving, and I've even been able to lift weights, but it's felt stiff and tender since then, and I've been favouring it.
Anyway, I've been doing some viniyoga exercises my girlfriend's mum recommended from a dvd (she's really into yoga), and I can tell you that nothing has ever felt so good or relaxing for my back, and given that I know that there are some sufferers on here, you owe it to yourself to give it a try, it's fantastic.
