Why aren't we trying to sign him?
If Hodgson really is looking to replace Aquilani this man fits the bill.
He has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the world.

I love Gourcuff but doubt we can afford him. They'd want 15-20million.

We should have snapped him up when he was still contracted with AC Milan. He went on loan to Bordeau and signed with them for about €15million. Can't quite remember. I'm sure Bman could give us a detailed report on him.

Add Camacho to that from Atletico Madrid, aswell as Javi Martinez From Bilbao. AC Milan's Paloschi looks like a talent too

Yes, there were rumours of the Scum being strongly interested in him. But he moved to Shakhtar for 6 million euros (fucking pittance) in January and he's been on fire for them. 8 goals in 19 games with some stellar performances in the Europa League.

He's got everything - explosive pace, great trickery, balance and a wicked wicked left foot. He's also supposed to be very mature and has spoken in interviews about avoiding the path that the likes of Robinho have taken to ruin their career.

Yeah...I feel like burying my head in the sand. Did quick search on the news to see if there were any teams being linked with him. Found a French article claiming that he has demanded to be allowed to leave Bordeaux and join Lyon.
