Will he believe again?

Still on 30.

Looking for a move away from Spurs.

Alot fo people reckon he never got a fair crack at Liverpool under Rafa.

Perhaps Kenny could get the best out of him.

Would anyone take him back on loan for a season as a back up option?

I assume you mean Crouch and the answer is no for me. He isn't very good at anything and he wouldn't even offer us a different option anymore as we have Carroll, who does what you'd want Crouch to do, but much better.

Carroll and Crouch would be an interesting combo...

i dont think it would work in 95% of games though due to their limited mobility. Pass and move would well and truely be dead at Anfield.

The only striker i would be happy to see return is Bellamy. The rest... meh.

Also... Rafa played Crouch for 17 games before he even got on the scoresheet.. Thats a fair crack at the whip.

Whoever the fuck this is, no.

Actually I would take Keane back, if we don't have to overpay and if he is willing to come here again. I really think Rafa mishandled him badly. Keane is a prototypical "confidence" player who goes on hot streaks followed by dry spells. Not a bad option for a squad player, provided you have a manager who can build up rather than destroy a player's confidence.

I wouldn't take Keane back at all. I can't believe how many sitters I have watched that man miss. If he actually took the golden opportunities handed to him, West Ham wouldn't have been relegated. He definitely has not made a case to be a Liverpool player.

He isn't looking for a move, they've been desperately trying to get rid of him since shortly after he returned to them.

He's past it now.

Can we please clarify who are we talking about?

Crouch.

Thanx for the Robo dance but thats it really. Definately not what we need now. Defoe though is a different option but he wouldnt be a first option.

Keane is decent, Berbatov is very good but lazy but as a partnership they were incredible. You could probably pick Keane up for £5m this summer and Berba for £10m - someone like Newcastle should be looking to re-unite these 2, they've got all the carroll money and by signing these 2 they could really become a decent top-half EPL team.

Keane is fucking rubbish.
Crouch is a poor mans Carroll.

Dont want either.

If spurs sell Modric im interested.

Modric is some player but Harry would want the earth for him or take a significant bung.

Lennon with his shaved eyesbrows is worth a punt.

Modric totally bossed us when we lost to them at Anfield. He would be a fabulous signing.

Good grief, yes. We should definitely get after him if there's any realistic chance. Any of the top teams should.

To clarify. I dont think for a second they will sell him.
Tottenham will (i think) have to sell this year. They cant afford THAT squad with no champions league football, but there are plenty who can go before they begin to sell their crown jewels:
Pav
Bentley
Crouch
Keane
Rose
Woodgate
Kranjar
Lennon
etc
And i honestly think if they were to sell one of thier BIG three it would be worlds greatest ever player Bale. Who would almost certainly give them enough to sign a top player and bank 50m

Really? I mean, really?

We could be on the cusp of a transfer window that sees us finally close the gap between us and the top four and you'd be happy for Craig Bellamy, who's been playing in the Championship all season, to return.

Such lofty ambition. Reign yourself in there gareth!

Agree with that list bar Rose. He looks decent and I think they will look to keep him.

I think they will sell Corluka too, with Kyle Walker coming back.
[/quote]
Villa are fucked next year. Downing and Brad to us, Young on the move and Walker returning to Spurs. That's four starting players.

Firm believer in not going back as a rule, but Kenny's putting that to the test of late, in this case certainly not. We have better, he's not as good as he was and we need to be strengthening elsewhere in the team first.

I dont want Robbie back either, but to suggest that his missed chances are responsible for West Ham not staying up is quite ridiculous.
