Would you give Torres stick in the next game for us?

Let's assume he is staying, how would you treat him if you watched him play.

Would it be similar to Rooney where he got stick for a couple of games only then he was fine again.

If he scored how would he be treated by the other players especially Stevie and Carra.

I actually want him to go now as I do not want to have a player in my team who treats us like he has.

Would the kop turn on him

I think silence if he scored would be the best form of put down.

Either that or shoving a skid marked age 6 away shirt in his face.

The cunt.

I will never boo any red whilst they put on our shirt but i will not cheer for him or sing his song.

I love it everytime he runs around in the red number nine. I will not stop loving that even if he shows that he is human after all. Ill be there at wednesday and if he shows up I will cheer him on.

Just to clarify things, you're all pissed because of the timing of it all and the lies, not that he's leaving?

Cause I had a feeling he'd leave this summer so I was somewhat ready for it and I don't think I'm alone on this.

To answer the original question, if I was there I'd probably just be quiet, cheer and call him a cunt if he scores.

Rooneys come out on the other side. Bar form.

If he's staying, no good can come from long term booing. We don't want to damage his value anymore!

Silence is a half good shout.

I'd rather we showed him exactly why he shouldn't leave though.show him why were better than chelsea and city.

Massive amount of noise and passion.

Something like that. That's basically what I say when an Everton player scores against Man U.

I'm not really all that pissed off. As long as we get 50m+ for him. I don't have that attachment to him, as i have for Gerrard and had for Hyypia and Hamann (even Riise actually) etc..

I'm just wondering who will bring in the goals.

I'd mutter for a while on first seeing him.

Then I'd whine and bitch at every miscontrol or perceived lack of effort.

Then I'd go apeshit if he scored (in the way you can only act during football matches without being thought of as unstable).

He's just a footballer. We give too much adoration to individuals.

Liverpool FC are more important. The King is dead, Long live the King etc etc...

Silence when they get to his name on the teamsheet (if he starts which I'd say is doubtful) but cheering him on during the game.

Won't do the clap thing though - back to Dalglish for that.

If we turn down 30+ millions and then dont start him I will be dissapointed.

No. I'll be singing his song as loudly as possible to make him remember what a special club LFC is. Well I won't be at our next home game but the one after! Assuming he's still Liverpool's Number 9 by then..

Silence if he scores and the Kop turn their backs to him!

If he considered the consequences of handing in a transfer request then he must deal with it. Talk about Torres being human, WTF about us? The betrayal after pledging his future to us.........it hurts...

If he is a Liverpool player trying to win games for us then he would he would get no stick from me. The same as Gerrard didn't.

I think indifference will hurt torres the most.

Anything to significance? 😛

Sounds like him. Often spotted around the cornerflag... allthough he was aiming for the goal.

If he stays then what would be the point of slagging him off? Maybe the crowd getting behind him would show him what he would be missing by going? Just a thought

The crowd have been behind him all season, those games he hasn't played well those games he looks uninterested people have made excuses for him 'he is injured', 'he is being held back by Roy' etc etc.
He already *knows* what he would be missing, he knows what its like to play for LFC and play in front of the Kop in Anfield..
He KNOWS all this shit, he knows he is praised by LFC fans the world over.

Another 5 months of singing the song won't make a difference.

If he stays I will sing his song and shout at him hoping he scores, God knows we have encouraged worse players who have worn the red. IF he stays he is still a red regardless of his head being turned by the hope of gold and riches elsewhere.
IF he stays and plays shit like he can't be arsed I will shout and scream at him to stop being a bitch.
If he goes......nothing, until we play whoever he plays for cos he will be a distant memory then.

Even though he's the 15th top goalscorer in Premier League History....

so he has gone and this thread now changes to....

How much stick should we give Torres when he plays against us?

Is what he has done worse than Owen?

He can fuck right off. Abuse ? Fucking right he's going to get some.
[/quote]

You're probably right but IMO that'll be a big mistake. It'll goad him to really turn it on.
