Pretty much about right - though I do think our prestige counts for a little more than you suggest but otherwise about spot on. Plus he's actually succeeding very well in his project and about to start a very exciting stage of that project for Spurs. I reckon there isn't a job on the planet he'd take right now ahead of the Spurs one - he can see something very good in the near future at the Lane. What's more he'll get pretty much all the credit for it even if I think Jol etc had a fair bit to do with laying the foundations.

I'm sure when people answer questions like this, they base it on the managers performance, not how he feels about the club. We all base our opinions on the assumption he would wan to come to us, when it clearly isn't the case. For example, i said i wouldn't want him near us because i think he's a cunt. Do i expect him to come? No. Do i expect him to want to come? No. However in the hypothetical sense whats wrong with thinking he might want to? Theres another thread over british managers and he was mentioned, and last night he got spurs into the champions league. Why is it assumed mourinho woudl come? why rijkaard? why oliveira? Why fucking any manager based on the state of our club? We're allowed to think what we'd like to see for our club.
Lets not discuss future transfers we'd like to see because they might not happen. Why should arda turan come to us? Guaranteed starter at home and a hero in his own country.

He's Manager of the Season IMO. Ludicrously under-rated on this forum. I know his record pre-Spurs was patchy, but he was always at clubs where money was tight. When he took over Spurs, they had an excellent squad filled with low-confidence, massively under-performing players. To take them into the top 4 in his second season is a great achievement, and to do so playing simple, attacking football is kind of inspiring.
I agree with whoever said he's the Anti-Rafa: he's a bit of a geezer, has no mystique about him, and it's easy to write him off as a chancer. But his teams and results say otherwise. There's no chance he'd leave Spurs for us now, but to answer the thread question: yes, I would.
