Watched USA Azerbaijan intermittently. Pretty boring stuff, but Aron Johansson looks like an intriguing young player.

Been scoring loads of goals for AZ this season, would be an interesting player to sign and then loan out.

Not encouraging that Bradley was poor tonight and Jones was even worse. We need Bradley to be at his best to even have a shot of making it out of the group stage.

I thought Jozy was decent with his hold up play but is he going to be able to score those half chances?

I was a little surprised Kinsmann stuck with the 4-4-2 diamond but I doubt we will see that formation against Ghana. Fully expect a 4-2-3-1.

I have to say the U.S. fullback situation is intriguing. Johnson, Chandler, and Yedlin are all versatile and potentially dynamic players.

As for Mix Diskerud, he could prove vital in the role of 60th/70th minute sub. It seems he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time and generally making things happen. Benny Feilhaber was excellent in that role 4-6 years ago.
 
USA Turkey on right now. USA defence looks very sketchy, but a great opening goal from Fabian Johnson.

I wish our RB could do that.

More than a bit shit that Sterling hasn't had a start in either of these 2 games, hes the only player along with Fraser Forster that hasn't.
