World Cup Games. Day Eight.

Hello all,
Thanks for the lads who've created the threads while I've been gone. I enjoy making them and discussing the games beforehand but I've been a bit busy the past two days. My wife had our first child. A healthy baby boy. He's awesome and I'm doing well to balance time with looking after him and mum and then watching the World Cup at night. Don't know how much longer I can keep that up. Ha.
Still, there's some games on today. Colombia vs. Ivory Coast, England vs. Uruguay, Japan vs. Greece. I've thrown together a multi of Colombia, England and Japan all to win as well as Honda first goal scorer.
What are everyone's thoughts on today's games?

From finishing Top 10 in the regular Prediction League (from 40+ predictors) to BOTTOM of the World Cup prediction league is quite a fall but for all you gamblers out there you should be awaiting my selections with bated breath .... before plonking a shit load the other way 😀

Could be three very good games. In each contest there isn't a massive amount of leeway between the two teams.

There are some interesting conflicts of styles in the Japan Greece game, the England Uruguay game if England follow the same pattern as Italy should be frenetic, possibly end to end stuff. Colombia ivory Coast isn't all that easy to call either.

Hoping for another good day of matches.

I'm up to the dizzying heights of 14th or something, I've predicted lots of winners but not the right scoreline.

I'd go for Colombia and England wins, the Japan Greece game looks like a snoozefest to me but seeing as one of them is pretty much going to need to win to progress it might be entertaining.

Well I haven't even got the correct winners most of the time ! However I did proffer some wisdom (coughs) before it started saying 4 points for a correct scoreline is far too much when you only get 1 for getting the winner right. 2 points for predicting the correct outcome and a bonus point if you get the score correct is far fairer.
