Considering he's meant to be one of the world's best players, Kaka's been poor. Same applies to Gerrard really, apart from that opening goal.

Gerrard had two good games out of four.
There are more big names out there who just did not turn up.
Actually after the dust has settles, i hope they analyze and conclude that it is England's defense that let them down big time in spite of Rooney playing like a Zombie. They need to have a proper re-think on Central Defense and Central Midfield.
England's defense was error prone from game 1.
Slowest and least mobile defense and central midfield in the tournament.
England's defenders were simply incapable of creating a play.
and lastly they were just not well organized.....
Against Germany, they did score 2 goals. That's about par far the course at this level as far as attack is concerned. When you also consider that Germany sat back and countered when England was committed forward, you actually start to think their forward play was not as bad as it is being made out.
But the defense was in such a state, England never had a chance. John Terry, Carra, Upson, Barry etc can not cut it at that level. If Rio was around things would have been a bit different. I have no idea how Upson was ahead of Dawson in the pecking order.
