So who's going to win it then?

All the sensible money's on Federer, surely.

Roddick may be worth a gamble too.

Fed's gotta be the bet, but Murray does stand a chance, just not as much as the media would have you believe.

Yeah, If they meet then Federer will have to be well off his game to lose to Murray.

Shame. But it would mean an avoidance of the media spunking over Murray.

Murray has flaws to his game.. his 2nd service is very poor... his poorest 2nd serv was recorded @ 68mph.... and avg around the 80 mph mark thats very slow for a top tennis player...

If he pulls of as many poor ones as he did today, Federer will murder him....

What Murray has though in his armoury is one wicked backhand and return... his placement with some of his shots was superb today, and to be fair he wasn't even on top of his game...

Murray makes up for his poor 2nd serve with an awesome return, he gets so much power into his behind baseline returns, it's unbelievable.

Making women play best-of-five-set matches at the Grand Slams would be a waste of time because they are not fit enough to last the distance, former Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt said Tuesday

On a more serious note, Federer must be so happy as his only real rival isn't in this tourney. He'll win it probably.

Why is everyone overlooking the fact that Murray has won more games against Federer than he has lost?

In 8 head to head matches he has won 6 of them - that seems a bit 1 sided if you ask me so maybe Federer winning it isn't that nailed on - assuming Murray actually gets to the final that is!

How many of them victories were on grass?

None god damnit - you had to come in and spoil it with "facts" didn't you!!

Still a decent record - grass or no grass and Murray has shown he can play well on that surface

Just not as well as Federer.

I'd be surprised if Murray's first Grand-slam was at Wimbledon.

No surprises here but Federer already looks a cut above everyone.

The man was born to play grass-court tennis.

That would be Pistol Pete...The slam dunk king. Pity he hung up his boots at the age of 29.

I'm a massive fan, but let's be honest.

Sampras' retirement was due in no small part to the emergence of Federer.

Still my favourite player tho, after McEnroe.

Murray's 3-0 down already

Too many pundits predicted this would be a walkover.

His opponents backhand is sublime.

Our local lad is starting very well 😀
Come on Stan!

What a backhand....

Reminds me of Justine Henin & Federer

Murray can't get a first serve in for love nor money.

Intae that Swiss cunt Murray!

Hey! watch your language Doc.
Murray's gonna win the match but show some respect towards our "Lausannois" 8)

There's not a *huge* amount between them talent wise, at least on today's showing

But physically and mentally Murray is a class above.

It's been a good test for him.

Murray was dire throughout tonight, his shot selection, everything.

After the first set Stan just fell away and was there for the taking, fair play to the man though, he gave it a good ole go
