Fourth.

I just think we'll scrape it. It's more important to Klopp and this bunch of players. They have nothing left to play for and a hell of a lot to prove. The last time we didn't have Europe we nearly won the thing. Fourth should be the minimum requirement.
 
Hopefully in a CL spot. Its all there for the taking but our lack of consistency and fight is a real issue. Considering that we played most of the teams above us, it doesnt bode well looking at our record against the lesser teams. A CL spot will help us attract better players to improve the 1st team. We need to buy proven quality to make the step up.

This was a season of great opportunity and learning. We fluffed our lines in January and February without getting results. Klopp dropped the ball in the January window by opting not to strengthen. Arguably our best defender is at Palace while we concede soft goals. Lets hope that the hard lessons are learned. introspection must be honest and brutal. There is no time for sentiment if we want to breed a winning mentality.

We also had one of the best strikers in the world and a second pretty damn good striker that was mostly fit and striving to rise to the challenge the other striker threw down for him every week.

We had them because the club made a decision to sign them. Klopp's had three windows to address the striker situation.

Absolutely, and I wouldn't be surprised if the owners had set that as a formal target for Klopp at the start of this season. They certainly should have done IMO.

I think we have a realistic chance of 3rd IF (and yes, it's a big "if") we can sort ourselves out against the "lesser" teams. If I were betting on it, though, I'd go 4th as well.
 
I just looked up the fixtures, our last match is at home so we'll finish the season in Liverpool.
 
I wish I had a fucking clue .... Hoping for top 4 but don't know if our lads will figure out how to play teams outside of the top 6 before the season ends.
 
I'm going optimistic too. I think the fixture pile up is going to fuck a few of them - Phil is looking better each game Lovren will be back soon as will Hendo we are going to twat these shit teams and we are going on a bit of a run

4th at best 6th at worst. We would need to massively invest in the squad if we are playing European football next year.

I have no idea where we'll finish, but we desperately need to get third somehow, that game at the Etihad is massive for that, we need to beat City and hope they stumble out of their stride, either that or hope for a Spurs implosion. I'm almost certain that United will win the Europa League making third absolutely essential.
