Just curious where everyone is tuning into the big game from, watching alone or with family, how many beers you've had (if any) etc.

I'm in a 14-day quarantine in Taiwan, no alcohol can be delivered here and I'll be hit with a $30,000 fine if I try to step outside.

There wouldn’t be many options for me at 2.30am on Monday morning even if I wasn’t in lockdown.

Wanted to go to the pub for an atmosphere, but nowhere suitable today with available transport options. I'm near Birmingham, England.

So at home, on my own, trying to get the volume up as much as the other half will tolerate.

Just started my first beer.

Really excited for this match. We're in great form. Atmosphere at the match will be amazing (enjoy Evo). Expecting at worst a great match, at best a doing over of our main rivals.

Come on the mighty reds!!!

sounds rough ! :/

watching on TV , had a vodka and tonic with a dash of lime in a large glass 🙂
In west Berkshire ,with the company of five dogs (who bark when a goal is scored )and a member of my family , came to stay over and watch the match 🙂 happy days !

I heard the Chinese air force sent 38 planes over to free you but you were on the bog and they couldn't hang around.

Good thread. Watched it in Ireland.

Where is the oddest place ye have watched a game ? Mine would be watching / listening to a CL qualifier in a public library in Cape Cod or joining the supporters club in Dubai to watch a mid week game. They were singing and had flags. Pints were €16. Madness.

I wasn't actually watching the game but I was talked through the Champions League semi final penalty shoot out against Chelsea while on a golf course in Florida by a pal who himself was on holidays in Spain.
He didn't actually tell me that Kuyt ( I think) scored the winning penalty.
I just heard him scream and then the phone went dead.

Watched the 2018 CL Final on my phone at my uncle's "celebration of life" (funeral). Was a lousy day.

Mine would have been in a tent high up in the Kyrgyz mountains - with an absolutely horrendous signal.

Well last night (and absolutely none of you will want to hear this) I was sat naked in front of my 32" monitor (so as not to wake the wife watching it on the TV in the room next to our bedroom). It's been around 32C with a feel-like of 35C but with the AC on a bit too chilly.

I don't think my screams woke the wife - at least she didn't complain when I got up for coffee around noon.

Got a train and met a few mates to watch in a pub. I think it's the first time watching in a pub since covid. I've missed that.

Weirdest place I've watched was when on a family holiday in Scotland. I decided to go off on my own to find a pub to watch the game. Somehow ended up in Lockerbie. Pub was like the twilight zone and I watched us get beat 3-0 by Newcastle.

Moscow would be up there with a bunch of weird places in the Middle East and Africa simply because the Irish pub I was in didn’t have a single person speak a word of English for 4 hours while I was there. Surreal experience was like living like Bill Murray in lost in translation for the 3 weeks I was there.

Was that the match that Brucie was accused of throwing?

For me nothing will ever beat watching the 4:3 game vs City in a packed shed in a small village in Ghana, being the only white person around but feeling totally as one and the whole place going nuts when Sadio and Mo scored their goals. This is when you realize how big LFC are globally.

Weirdest place I've ever seen a game would be either the first semi against Barca where Messi scored that sick free kick in Oman where we kept running tables to stop getting harrassed from all the hookers, or the actual game we won in Madrid where I was so fucking high I didn't know where I was watching it by the end

Mine was in a rave in Romania, think it was the second game of the season in 2018... the only place you could get wifi was in this hotel reception round the corner, and there was three of us gurning at a phone that might have been upside down - with regular hotel guests pointing at us cos you're not meant to dance to arabic football commentary

I
Haha i also remember at a rave watching a Liverpool Spurs game the year we came 2nd where Salah got the late winner and I went fucking mad about the time a big trombone brass band started playing some techno and everyone just thought I was fiending the brass section
