So I found the remains of a pigeon under my car today. It was really weird though. The feet and wings were sitting neatly snipped off, exactly in the position they must have been when attached to the bird. Half way between the wings was the head, which again was neatly severed. The body was missing, and the downy breast feathers were nowhere to be seen either, nor any trace of the guts or breast bones.
Something had taken it there and just snipped off the part they wanted. Any ideas of the likely predator?
