We first did this thread a couple of years ago and I nominated my Chinese goddaughter, who has no legs below the knee and much reduced use of her hands after being badly burned in a fire a few years back, but has an amazing strength of character and love of life. She was adopted by friends of mine in the States three years or so ago, and knew no English before she went to live with them. Since then she's become a talented artist, knits by holding one needle under her chin and manipulating the other, plays the Chinese dulcimer, is learning to drive, has been put down for a college place and has just won her High School's prize as best Maths student in the school. 'Scuse me boasting about her, but I'm just in awe of this amazing young woman. 8)
