head into town and get the no.17.

The dolby's right by leo casino isn't it? Is so, head towards the hilton, with the docks behind you its forward and left. Then you're by the big bus station, one of them should go there.

I always get a taxi but then again i'm usually so excited about the cheap pints that the taxi fare is minor for me.

I have gotten the bus in from the ground before, drunk out of my mind and got off at the wrong place. Oops.

26 from the bus station stops outside the Shankly gates.

Yup.

That's the best one since the Dolby is on Chaloner.

Just keep walking along Chaloner towards the main bus station and get a 26 or 27 (think it's Stand 4 but there'll be loads of Reds wearing colours so you'll have no problem finding the stand)...assuming you're driving up in your Alfa? ;D

If you're in town then take the no. 17 from Stand No. 6 at Queen's Square Bus Station (that's right near Lime Street so thats the best route if you're coming in by train)

How the hell did you get a room at the Dolby?

I can never get rooms there since it's booked solid 2 months before the game.

Ahh a piggy back off a Parraffin lamp, there expensive though.

Ahhh, didnt read the 'Dolby Hotel' bit, just saw teh postcode & didnt know what bit of town it was.

yeah, what sumo/squiqqles said then.

Cheers guys! Driving in the girlfriends new Citroen C3.. Got their last room when I'd secured our tickets the other week! Usually go for the Formula 1 but it was fully booked..

When I was a kid my dad would always drive us and park nearish to the stadium and pay some oik a few quid to watch his car.. Bus sounds simple enough.. Thanks guys!

If there's two of you, ring a private cab - 0151 924 7373. It'll only be about a £5/6

On a match day ring it early though, you can spend the time before the game in the Harry & buying jester hats.
