Hilarious if they can't move in for some time. Some big safety issue apparently. NFL game moved too

[article]The venue for their next scheduled home game against Manchester City on October 28 is "to be confirmed".[/article]

It must be some severe safety issues.

All Executive Members contracted to the new stadium will automatically receive a credit note equal to 1/28th of your 2018/19 seasonal fee for each of the Premier League matches to be played at Wembley - on Saturday 15 September against Liverpool, kick-off 12.30pm, and on Saturday 6 October against Cardiff City, kick-off 3pm - 28 being the average number of games in all competitions over the past five seasons. This amount will be deducted from your 2019/20 seasonal fee and a credit note to that effect will be placed into your Premium account and can be used for the matches at Wembley or for future payments.

Ooof. Imagine the people who bought a box thinking they had at least four or five big games this season, and then being told you've lost Liverpool and City but you'll get 1/28th of your money back per game.

I dunno, I just went on the site thinking that there might be a general sale of tix for our game now that there are 30k more, and stumbled on that.

Interestingly this was the Premier League position a couple of years ago when commenting on the possibility of Spurs splitting home games between two grounds:

“They’d have to play in the same stadium for the entire year,” he said. “For the integrity of the competition. You can’t have 19 home games with 10 at Milton Keynes and nine at Wembley – completely, completely unfair. That won’t be allowed in our competition.”

Byt what's unfair in that?
How is it more unfair than City's spending power?

I imagine what is 'unfair' is that half of the teams facing Spurs might be deemed to have a tougher game in a stadium with a better atmosphere so they are suggesting it wouldn't be an even playing field.
