Utd 2-1 West Ham

Rooney just sent off.

Booted the player running away from him with a high boot.

Half an hour to play with ten men & he'll miss Everton Middlesbrough & Chelsea matches.

West Ham have been playing well this half too.
 
Wow. Shrek sent off at Old Toilet - by Lee Mason, too. Would never have happened in Ginsoak's day.

Incidentally the player running away from him was Downing. Waits until he leaves to do something decent. 😉

Ah, I'm reading a book whilst watching, (trying to multi task my free time whilst the kids are out with Bex!) so only caught the end of the replay.
 
Not that it ever needed it, but that's confirmation that it'll be a two horse race for the title.

Rooney not being available is a blessing for them. They are more likely to win without him than with him...

Thats what I was thinking. But they will have a hard time in the PL playing two players as slow and as lacking of work rate up front as RVP and Falcao all the time. Angel and Ander have a lot of weight on their shoulder.
 
I'll say it now. Jason Roberts is a fucking idiot. Being an apologist for Rooney? He was trying to trip him? Get to fuck Roberts, he knew exactly what he was doing. And Roberts wasn't the only one I've seen trying to excuse that. Mind you the FA tried to get him off a 3 game ban for kicking out so the example is set.
 
IMO he isn't so much an idiot, more a rent-a-mouth. He wants a career in the media and or football admin.and will parrot whatever he thinks the football and media establishment wants to hear in order to get it.
