A pretty frenetic period for all teams coming up now, we have thirteen matches between now & new years day!

The weekend starts with the Arsenal v Spurs match, which has been as lively as you'd expect in the opening few minutes.

I think we need to be pragmatic here, & hope for a Spurs win, unfortunately.
 
I’d go for the usual draw with injuries and red cards.

Not too much quality in the game so far. Sanchez starting to see the ball a bit more now. Lacazette seems a bit rubbish. Alli is off the pace.
 
2-0 now. Sanchez from close range after lacazette gets behind the spurs defenders.
 
He's generally very good but I think Lloris was at fault for the 2nd. Heavy touch from Sanchez and instead of throwing him self atvthe lose ball he backs away. By the time Sanchez shoots he's standing behind the goal line

Ok, Arsenal twatting Spurs & Spurs collapsing & going on a disastrous run whilst Arsenal bottle as it as usual in games against aggressive teams would be nice too!
 
Just watching this game now, christ Arsenal's defence is worse than ours, Spurs aren't being clinical today, they'll win if they are.

Well, based on the five minutes i've seen anyway.
 
Kane and Alli subbed off after 75 mins and 2-0 down, that will be a popular decision by Pocchettino.
 
He's seemingly given up with those substitutions. What a shame, Spurs.
 
Having watched the Madrid derby, and maybe I am being naive, I don't think I will be unduly worried if we were to meet either team if we progress in the champions league.
I reckon we have the capacity to cause them more problems than them us and further progress would depend on how ruthless we would be.
Not a strong point of ours I'll give you but I definitely think we would be in with a good chance.
 
Madrid have serious problems with their front 3 - the keeper, back 4 and midfield 3 (casemiro / kroos / modric) are still top notch ... but the front 3 - ronaldo, benzema, isco and/or bale are contributing nothing.
Ronaldo - I've never seen him so poor - he looks like he has zero confidence. Is this the end?
Bale - always injured.
Benzema - lazy, and struggling for form and fitness.
Isco - brilliant on the ball, but very erratic final product.

THey're going to fire Zidane imo at season's end because I cannot see them winning anything major this year ... gonna be a travesty.

Hopefully it is the end for the preening cunt.
Atletico aren't exactly all that either now that Greizmann seems like he has decided that he would prefer to be earning a lot more money elsewhere
 
If you watched us against Utd you wouldn't be worried about either team.

Impossible to judge CL based on a derby like that

If Real wan't fixated on the concept of galoacticos he, rather than Morata, ought to have made way.

Talking of strikers, guess what happened when Benteke had a 1 on 1 chance more or less to put the bitters away?

What a horrible blunder - selling your 2nd best striker (at the time) to accommodate Benzema? Terrible terrible mistake. Fuckers couldn't have fucked up too and sold Asensio for 40 mill to us? 🙂
 
Watching Watford Westham. For all of the Fowlers and Suarezs we have had some absolutely awful strikers in Carroll, Benteke..
 
Just because I've got so many West Ham mates I love to see them being this shit. And Bilic is blueshite
