So, anyone give Wolves the slightest hope against City today?

The outlook is doubtful

The hype for wolves made them sound like a genuine threat in the top division but they've looked like a standard promoted side so far. But early days, I doubt the hype was for nothing.

Anything but IMHO. They looked great but were incredibly unlucky vs Leicester (I watched the whole match, they probably deserved to win), hitting the bar 3 times and conceding to a deflected shot and an OG.

Not so great but probably good for their point vs Everton (again I watched the whole match).

They won't get anything this weekend of course (0-3 perhaps) but I'd still put them down for Top 10, maybe Top 8.

The start man city have got is just ridiculously easy.

Takes the fucking piss.

They've definitely had the rub of the green in the fixtures, although I suppose they did have to play Arsenal away, which is potentially difficult.

EDIT: Brendan mind meld again.

I worry for Wolves today. The fact that they play football means that they may play into City's hands, and leave themselves open to a hiding. That being said, too many teams retreated into their shell against City last season and handed them the initiative. We need City to have an off day, and for Wolves to play out of their skins.

I'm excited to watch one of my favourite players against top class opposition. Neves. Can't believe he's just 20 (I think) although the beard makes him look 30 !

Away to Arsenal isn't that easy

Yep Arsenal away can never be considered easy whowever you are, however their next six are the three promoted teams from last season and the three promoted teams from the season before.

That is the most frustrating thing about this run they have. We need teams to be brave enough to play against them this season we they do actually look like they can concede under pressure, but this run of games where they could quite feasibly beat six teams by large margins week inevitably make teams think twice about that tactic.

Wolves 0-3 City
Arsenal 2-0 West Ham
Bournemouth 1-1 Everton
Huddersfield 1-2 Cardiff
Southampton 1-1 Leicester
Liverpool 4-0 Brighton

Watford 1-1 Palace
Fulham 2-0 Burnley
Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

United 1-1 Spurs

Our opening fixtures aren't the hardest either like
Away under the Monday night lights for Palace's first home game was always going to be a sticky fixture, but that apart, we definitely can't moan too loudly.

Fark Sterling with a goal of the season contender if it went in.

Swerving half volley, tipped onto the bar from 25 yards
