Lallana back in full training next week and should be available for trip to Watford.
No return date for Hendo

Yep. It's tomorrow. First match I'm not gonna see live this season thanks to some fucker booking a family day out for fucking tomorrow, despite me saying the only day I can't do is fucking Sunday.

Fucking twats. I'm gonna record the game & watch it once I'm home. Wouldn't mind if it was something good, but it's fucking martinmere we're going to. Basically a swamp with some birds around. Went when I was about ten & thought it was fucking dreadful, but apparently now its "A great day out" & is worth spending a small fortune to get in it.

Of course, that also means I can't watch the Utd Chelsea match live either cos although I'll be back by then I can't watch cos they'll reference our score at least once.

As for the game itself, similarly to Stoke, I'm not really looking forward to this. Injuries to key personnel & playing a team that are basically setup to exploit our worst weaknesses.

However we've had a full week off, & may have taken some confidence against teams of this ilk with our second half performance last week, so my fears may be unfounded.

The players would be forgiven for having other worries on their mind. Klopp would also be forgiven for having additional worries on his mind. I expect very little, they're not going to be in the right mental state to perform, and when we don't perform we invariably lose.

We can also hope that West Brom players are already on holidays as has been their tradition to do once safety is reached.
Their recent form has be poor, bar alarmingly perhaps for us, their 3-1 win over Arsenal.

Origi or Sturridge upfront?
The rest is pretty much a given, unless Klopp decides to fuck around and play Klavan or whatever.

Mignolet
Milner
Matip
Lovren
Clyne

Lucas
Can
Wijnaldum

Coutinho
Origi
Firmino

Most likely

Just read that we've never beaten a Pulis team away from home in the league.

Time to fix that record tomorrow.

I'm kinda expexting the same team that started the second half last weekend.

Yeah west brom games are grim.

In fact , i reckon they're due an uncharacteristic shoeing , i want Pulis to toss his dad cap aside and trudge off down the tunnel after 90mins

Against better judgement im backing us for three points.

1-4

Impossible to know what to expect tomorrow. All outcomes are very feasible. The optimist in me says Firmino and Coutinho will be rested and on form and the turnaround against Stoke will have raised our confidence. The pessimist says they are bound to murder us at set pieces and we are often shit at early kick offs.

I've no idea.

I've spent a lot of time this week looking at the remaining fixtures for us, gooners, City and the scum and have managed to convince myself that there is no way we can not end up in the top four.

We'll lose this and some how fuck it up.

2-1 win for West Brom.
They'll kill us from set pieces and bore us to death on the ground.

Agreed, plus (funnily enough) if the Baggies were as low as they should be in the league I'd be less confident. As it is, our lot will know they're in for a testing time and, on past performance, that should bring out the best in them. Don't see us preventing WBA scoring, but I don't see them shutting us out either. A scruffy 2-1 win for us.

I just hope Klopp knocks this "Let's stay tight at the back & not expose ourselves too much" idea on the head.

I like the concept, & I'm all for tightening up, but this group of players have only done it once successfully as far as I remember this season (against city we were very compact & dragged it out), & whilst we continue to be so damn vulnerable to set pieces it means we're always in a position where if we fail to score we could end up behind, despite having loads of possession & tight defensively.

Our attack & our ability to score is our greatest asset. To sacrifice that in order to try to get defensive stability with just six games remaining in the league is a fools errand imo.

Liverpool are sweating over the fitness of Roberto Firmino ahead of their trip to West Brom on Sunday, writes Mirror Football's Alex Richards.
The Brazilian forward, who scored the winner at Stoke last weekend, did not take a full part in training on Friday, as the Reds limbered up at Melwood.
Firmino spent the majority of the session going through some fitness work with head of fitness and conditioning Andreas Kornmayer, and speaking to coach Jurgen Klopp.

How did he know who was who??

Pulis's teams have a horrible record after they have secured 40 points. They have 44. I fancy us strongly.

We usually don't do well against Pulis teams though.

Also, how are WBA still in the top half of the table? It seems like they've been dreadful for months.

Just goes to show how mediocre the teams below them are - and how badly we've let ourselves down against those same teams.

Pull a sickie...

Ha. Tempting, but Bex will know I'm feigning it & I'll lose brownie points.

Saving up brownie points currently as I may well need them, so medium to long term it's not worth the loss.

Phone will be switched off, cd only on way home, & then match on as soon as I walk in the door. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

When you've parked the car and have started walking towards your house, someone will obviously shout: "hope your day has been better than Liverpool's...".

That happened to me a few weeks back.
