Roberto Firmino plans to stay at Liverpool 'for many years'

Roberto Firmino wants to stay at Liverpool "for many years" after getting to grips with the pace of English football.
The Brazil forward is in his second season at Anfield after a £29m transfer from Hoffenheim which Jurgen Klopp recently described as a bargain.
Firmino has thrived under Klopp, scoring all 17 of his Reds goals since the German replaced Brendan Rodgers in the autumn of 2015, and the 25-year-old envisages spending the prime of his career in the Premier League.

He told the Liverpool magazine: "Being really honest, I love it here and plan to stay for many years in the future as the Premier League is really competitive and tests you all the time.
"I think I have had to change the way I play. I was adapted to European football after playing in Germany for three years but English football is very different to the Bundesliga.

"You really notice that the Premier League is much, much faster - the pace is very high and you do need to adjust, but this is a type of football that I enjoy."
Firmino has played across Klopp's fluid forward line, and he said: "My main aim is to be helpful to the team in achieving what we need to achieve.
"At the moment, I am playing up front but I can play anywhere the manager asks me to. My preference is to be inside the area, near where the goals are scored - that's my preference!"

Never worried .. but it's still good, for both us and other players, to hear a first teamer come out and say that.

Nice but not worried. I love how the team are playing but feel no attachment to any of these players as i think the main man is our manager and not any of these players.

I think we're the best club Firmino is likely to get. I cant see Barcelona making a move for him. But after all the disruption we've had in recent years having first teamers who want to stay and fight is always welcome news.

One of my favorite players in our current squad. Oozes talent, class and even further potential.

And his teeth are so inexplicably white..
