OK, maybe this should be in the TV forum, but it might open into wider debate.
There was a program on BBC1 on Wednesday about the relationship between cyclists and drivers.
The basis of it was from footage from cycle helmet cameras which is becoming a more common toy.
Basically it said there are some twats that drive and some twats that ride bikes, it was fairly balanced really. In fact as a driver, I think it showed more cyclists being twats.
There was road rage when cyclists struck car roofs with their hand if they thought they were too close etc.
The main guy a specky smart-arse that had a go at loads of drivers, he was clearly a man on a mission, and where he could not find fault made it up as most of the time, they had left him plenty of room, anyway.
It seemed to me that for position of great vulnerability from good and bad drivers , cyclists are very smug and risk injuring themselves, and getting battered with a baseball bat to try to prove a point, which very often they can't see that they are the problem rather than the solution.
