Gents,

I want to put a page together about getting to the match. I want to include things like:

Anfield the ground (stands, how to get there, history etc, where to drink, where to park etc.)
Liverpool City - where to stay - info on hotels , websites, phone numbers for hotels, where they are, any reccomendations etc..)
Liverpool City - going out - info on bars, what they're about, music they play, location etc..

Travel Links: Info on rail, road and air - etc..

Now I'm happy to put the page together but I just don't have time to go away and collate all the information.

So I'm looking for a few volunteers to help out with this. Anyone interested ?
 
I would like to be able to help Sunny but the total information I could provide would fit on the back of a postage stamp.
If this gets up and running can I suggest that there be some sort of alert section for Ryanair/other airline cheap flights into Liverpool for match days.
Just yesterday I picked up flights for the Wigan match on Dec 16th for 2 cent return from Dublin with nothing else to pay. By evening time when I went to check for a mate they were up to over €90.
Just a thought.
 
There is an irish site with great info Sunny. They have someting similiar set up, with listings of Hotels, etc. I'll drop you a pm with a link later.

I've stayed in a number of the hotels around Liverpool so I can write up a bit on them. I'm sure plenty of others will have experiences they can share too.

Pete says he'll do something on Popworld.
 
Great idea Sunny. Then I could post that info locally with the SA supporters club. We have lads attending more than a few games a season.

Sorry Ross.
I only booked the flights at five and by the time I could go back on line at eight they were up to €90.
I have posted about cheap flights being available before and that is why I thought that an alert thread would be a good idea.

Pm me your dates and I will keep an eye out for you.

I was only being a bit of an arse mate. I'm heading over for new years so I definitely wouldn't have been able to head over for the Wigan game
