Violence @ Australian Open ..... AGAIN

And as usual its either the Croatians, Serbians, Bosnians or whatever other former Yugoslav nation there is .... and 99% of these fuckwits don't understand a thing about their history... they 'hate' one another because its in fashion.

Even Serb and Croat tennis players have said that none of this shit happens when they play each other back in Europe.

AN UNRULY mob of Croatian fans set a sinister tone on the first day of the 2010 Australian Open.

About 60 aggressive and chanting supporters in Croatia's chequered colours lit flares and made offensive and threatening gestures as they marched en masse to Melbourne Park, scattering other shocked spectators in their way.

In a display that left onlookers disgusted, Herald S** photographer Craig Borrow was spat on and punched as he photographed the chanting mob.

Security staff were waiting at the front gates to search them for contraband amid strict new measures for the tennis.

But some of the fans tried to dodge security by running up the stairs while others buried themselves in their their hoodies to hide their faces as they arrived.

From a few years back:

Tennis hooligans?

Silly little boys with something to prove.

This hatred lead to all that death, all that pain. Its why most of them are in the lucky country, when their parents left 18 or so years ago...To escape from all that, and begin again.

Why pass down this hatred? No good can come of this.

As a wise man once said...Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

This is what caused the old National Soccer League to fail and eventual die out.

Clubs in the old league were:

Sydney Olympic - Greek
Sydney United - Croatian
South Melbourne Hellas - Greeks
Melbourne Knights - Croatian
Footscray JUST - Yugoslav
Preston Makedonia - Macedonians
Heidelberg United - Greeks & Macedonians

So what we have now happening at the tennis in Australia was what we had happen almost week in week out at the old NSL matches!

Sometimes when you had clubs of the same background - eg: Melbourne Croatia vs. Sydney Croatia ... they used to play the Croatian national anthem before kick offs!

Hardly surprising really. As you alluded to in your first post, they're so fucking stupid they don't even understand why they're trying to fight with each other.

And the horrible heydays of the NSL are still played out on a weekly basis in State League Soccer. Some of the scenes, chants, fights, and 'supporters' I've seen playing in the VPL over the last few years have been beyond disgraceful.

Pitiful, thick cunts.

Ana Ivanovic knocked out in the 2nd round. Another early exit for her. She really has stuttered after winning the French Open in 2008. Wonder what her problem is? Relationship problems? She should give me a ring, I can help. ;D

It's one of the reasons I stopped going to games.
Despite the fact the ground was in easy walking distance from my place I just didn't feel any inclination to bother with the neandethal element that still seems to be in place.

I wouldn't even think about going back if I were you.

The terrace support is just as bad, only this time it comes from a hardcore element of about 15 teenagers as opposed to 5000. If anything, they stand out more though.

"We hope your family are killed by the IRA" was a chant I received in St. Albans about 2 years ago.

I thought of trying to explain the fact that I was Catholic and Irish to them, but decided against it.

To be fair to Ryan's abusers, being an Irish catholic wouldn't necessarily disqualify his family from being shot by the 'RA.

What's with the salutes ?

Fucking 'tards.

Serbs and Croats are doing it all the time over here, particularly at state league football matches when their teams are playing.

So stupid.

That explains it.
Fucking inbred mongs.

Ha ha ha @ Loch Ness Monster and Dr. Mac

Surely St Albans have some sort of website or something. We can have a Chant About Ryan contest and send them the best ones.
