Seeing where Spurs are now, would you have much preferred him instead of hiring Rodgers last summer?

Discuss.

I wanted him at the time, so i'm pleased he's doing well for my own selfish reasons, however I'm still happy with rodgers

Not to sound all "Ross", but I'd say the fact they had a good squad, approaching their peak and already at a point where they should have been in the top 4, may have helped AVB somewhat.

Yep, and i don't think they've been particularly better than the seasons before this season, there high position imo is more down to our slow transition and the self combustion of both Arsenal and Chelsea.

It's been the Gareth Bale show of late. They've been far from impressive as a team. I still think the jury is out.

Pretty much, flavour of the month and all that. Are they really having a significantly different season to what they've had in recent years? Not really.

High wage bill, huge amounts of signings, fuck knows where they get all their money from. He's a fucking numpty and will be found out.

They don't have a high wage bill, they're a very well run club, unfortunately. They have a wage cap in the 70k region, which is why players like Modric end up leaving them.

I didn't want Rodgers or AVB so I'm not sure I could make a fair comparison between the two now based on what I knew then.

High for Spurs I mean. I mean really, Spurs? Anyone who wants to play for them can fuck off. They are a nothing club. And that's the and of it! I may be living in the past here but fuck it.

And I didn't want either either, so I am also unable to make a judgement other than Villas Boas can get to fuck.
