I wasn't taking the piss. It was an awful decision to start Lallana at DM in the PL. He isn't cut out for it at all.

There isn't a midfield combo we can field that answers all critics. It's a less shit version of te debates that used to occur about what defender was best (the one currently injured). Then we bought better defenders. We need better midfielders. We've ticked off the dm slot. We've got plenty of willing runners. Everyone knows we would ideally have better. Ideally keita would be a nailed on starter like fabinho, but it hasn't worked out. I don't think you can act like you have some controversial opinion. You don't. People get annoyed because it's overstated, and you beat a dead horse.
Lallana was shockingly bad, hendo wasn't much better, we haven't lost more midfield battles since Lucas was playing.
Overall it was a poor performance but we were the better team, we deserved at least a point and we were on the wrong end of 3 dodgy VAR decisions.

I thought Lallana was decent recycling the ball, he even had the time to run into the box to miss that big chance. But defensively he's just poor; can't tackle and is physically weak to dominate any headers.

Cheating ref aside, I have no idea why they based it on his armpit. He scored with his leg, they should base it on the position of his leg against the defender's leg.
If he score with his head then measure the line with the defender's head, and so on.

I think everyone in this entire forum would have been happier seeing Ox or Milner start. Also, no I don't think I've been beating a dead horse. If that was he case I would have stopped years ago.
