The quoted price is 6 mill £. For that price I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Move him behind Torres, and Stevie next to Mascher. That has potential written all over it.

It makes you wonder why Madrid may contact us with a few players, maybe a sweetner for first dibs on el capitano. I would have have as long as it was for the price above.

exactly, he's super overrated. sneijder was the one we should have signed, i don't want any of this seasons real rejects last seasons are the ones we should have signed - robben, horseface and sneijder

He doesn't have to be world class. We arguably need world class additions in a number of areas as well as building up some squad depth, but we don't have the funds to do this.
