This is the shameful moment an England football fan had his ear lobe bitten off by a racist thug at the World Cup, reveals the Sunday People.

Our shocking video shows the victim with blood pouring down his neck after a fellow England fan savagely attacked him.

The stunned supporter, believed to be England fan Robert Farquharson, tells the camera: “He bit my ear off and called me a black ****!”

The thug had also taunted his victim by telling him: ‘You shouldn’t be supporting England.’

Sunday People columnist Stan Collymore – among the first to view the video – last night called for football bosses Fifa to launch an investigation into the incident and described it as “unbelievable”.

And north London-based fan Billy Grant, who filmed the incident, said: “Everyone who witnessed what happened to the kid was absolutely disgusted.

“The guy who attacked him was an idiot.

"He attacked another England fan, racially abused him and then bit his ear off. It was appalling.”

Brutal: Robert Farquharson after the attack
The disgraceful attack happened on the top tier of the Arena Corinthians stadium in Sao Paulo immediately after England’s 2-1 defeat by Uruguay 10 days ago.

Uruguay and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, who scored his nation’s two goals and effectively knocked England out, was himself banned for biting an Italian player five days later.

Roy Hodgson’s men were still consoling each other on the pitch when violent scuffles broke out in block 614, behind England’s goal, following the final whistle.

Our 50-second horror film shows frame-by-frame the appalling moment a heated argument descends into a terrifying brawl that has now left a young man disfigured for life.

The film starts with orange-jacketed stewards desperately rushing down a stairway to regain control after a frightening struggle breaks out.

Initially, three men can be seen grappling while another in an England flag-style fancy dress outfit attempts to stay out of the way.

The ear-biting victim, wearing a white England top and a red-and-white Three Lions backpack, desperately tries to squirm free by ducking and weaving.

Just five seconds into the video, one of the attackers appears to sink his teeth into his victim’s left ear lobe, slicing it clean off.

Footage: The incident was caught on video by another fan
The terrified victim is then held by the first attacker while a second thug repeatedly punches him.

A number of onlookers, including stewards and fans, one of them wrapped in a St George’s flag, push the attackers away.

It is only when the fans are eventually separated that the terrible consequences begin to emerge.

England fan Ashley High, from Norwich, wrote on the official EnglandFans club forum: “It was disgusting.

"I just hope they find him and put him down.”

And video blogger Billy, a passionate Brentford fan who follows England all over the world, added: “We’ve got to find this guy.

"Someone knows him.

“All England fans want this idiot caught and outed. There was a woman there who was wailing.

"She was shouting, ‘What have they done, what have they done?’

Gruesome: Robert Farquharson shows his ear
“I went down there and had a look and at that stage I asked the question, ‘What’s going on?

“One of his friends said, ‘My mate’s ear has just been bitten off.’

“Robert was completely in a daze. He was in complete shock and his friend was shouting ‘I can’t believe they’ve done this to him’.

"It was a weird situation because there were no stewards to help, just fans.

“I said to him ‘What’s going on here mate?’ I’ve been to games for 20 years and never seen anything like that.

“He told me the guy called him a ‘black ****’ and said something like, ‘you shouldn’t be supporting England’.

“Everyone was completely and utterly upset. Then he was given first aid in the first-aid room.”

Billy is keen to stress the incident was not typical of following England abroad and the vast majority of supporters are well-behaved and want to have fun.

He added: “We don’t want things to go back to the bad old days.

"This guy has no place in the game.”

The disgusting side of English football - Stan Collymore
This disgusting incident shines a light on the nastier side of being an England fan.

I have been in Brazil since the start and everyone around the tournament has been helpful and friendly.

So to now see an attack like this in a stadium was a real shock. I could not believe what I was seeing when watching the video.

It’s clear that there now needs to be a full investigation into exactly what happened.

The footage does not lie. There is a scuffle, a fight, and an England fan has his ear bitten off. It really is unbelievable.

It is also clear from the tape that there was poor policing and no help for this man, who was clearly shell-shocked.

The organisers FIFA need to explain why this was the case.

The victim needed immediate help. Although I understand he is on the mend, he will still have to deal with the fact part of his ear has been bitten off.

You would imagine he will need plastic surgery. It is an unbelievable story.

At World Cup matches you are supposed to feel safe, part of a football party that unites us all.

But this guy has been treated appallingly and whoever did this to him needs to be found, so that necessary action can be taken.

Btw, Suarez is still a cunt and this isn't me defending him

It adds to the humour of it all for me

Incidentally, based on what the dude said to him, it sounds like John Terry

Manhunt launched for Luis Suarez lookalike who 'bit a man's ear off'

A LUIS Suarez-lookalike is being hunted by cops amid claims he bit off part of a man's ear during a "shocking" late night attack in Manchester.

Officers said the alleged yob, who bears a striking resemblance to the controversial Uruguay star, climbed on top of his victim before tearing off part of his left ear with his teeth.
A CCTV image shows the remarkable likeness between the "animal" and serial biter, Suarez, who has been banned for four months for sinking his jaws into Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup in Brazil.
The 21-year-old victim and his girlfriend were walking along Portland Street in the city when a group of four men walked up to them at about 3am on Saturday, March 29, according to police.
Officers said one of the men barged into the victim and started an argument, which sparked a fight with the victim banging his head on a nearby phone box.
As they fell to the floor, the attacker got on top of the victim and bit off part of his left ear, before jumping to his feet and running off, police alleged.

The victim was left to find his missing ear lobe and take it to hospital for reattachment.
The alleged attacker is described as a white man in his early 20s, around 6ft tall and with a slim to medium build.
He had short, dark hair and was wearing a red or blue bubble jacket.
Detective Constable Robert Ashurst said: "This is a nasty case in which a few heated words have turned into a brutal attack that has left a man needing serious treatment.

"Quite often people who attack innocent victims in the street are described as 'animals', but in this case that rings particularly true.
"The victim was simply trying to ensure his girlfriend was safe and instead suffered a permanently disfiguring injury.
"The shocking nature of this attack means we are extremely keen to bring this man to justice as soon as possible, as he has already shown he is capable of extreme violence.
"If you recognise the man in this picture please contact police as soon as possible."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 2510, 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Meanwhile, the fallout from the punishment handed to the Liverpool striker rumbles on.
While many have called for Fifa to impose a stiffer ban, the Uruguay camp have accused European media of colluding to trump up the charge Suarez faced in front of a disciplinary panel.
Suarez, 27, and the Uruguay FA have insisted that pictures of the Italian defender's bite marks are old injuries digitally enhanced.
A leading polygrapher today offered the shamed star the chance to take a lie-detector test to prove his claimed innocence.
Expert Don Cargill helped a wrongly jailed Liverpool fan, Michael Shields, win a Royal Pardon after he was convicted of attempted murder of a barman in Bulgaria in 2005.

Amid suggestions of Liverpool either selling Suarez, or mounting a legal challenge to overturn his record four-month domestic ban, the player was thrown a lifeline by Mr Cargill.
"I don't know if he wants to take my test, " Mr Cargill, chairman of the British and European Polygraph Association (BEPA), said.
"But the offer is there and the outcome would give Liverpool FC the chance of fighting the player's corner, if it wished to."
Suarez has twice before been sanctioned for biting an opponent, including for an incident last year when he gripped the arm of Chelsea defender, Branislav Ivanovic, between his gnashers during a game.

They all look the same though.

It also seems to go for comedy rather than being outraged. Even though somebody got their ear bitten off.

I read it on a news aggregation site I'd never seen before that didn't credit the express until the end & honestly thought it was some awful awful satire.

What the fuck possessed them to write it like that? The British press is fucked up.

"I fell on him and hurt my teeth". I don't think Suarez can complain about even the worst of the English coverage. We can all learn from him, though. Bankers? Follow your corrupt actions by walking about with your daughter in your arms. Oscar Pistorius? Bounce around with someone else's daughter in your arms. I pity poor Luis when his daughter gets too big to carry any more. I bet she sits there watching him on TV thinking, 'Oh fecking HELL, it'll be WEEKS before he'll let me walk again!'

I have no issue with people thinking he's an utter cunt ... well because he's behaved it like it.

But the continual attacks on him holding his daughter or son? What do you want to do? Put him off a window ledge like Wacko Jacko? He loves his kids and holds them, or walks around holding there hand, when he's with them - I'll raise my hand - I do that too! What a whooping thundercunt I am. (Now you can feel pity for me Ryan! 🙂)

Yeah, politicans love their kids, too, always on camera after they've been caught in a bit of bother. Suarez uses everyone. Using your kids, time and time again, for photo opportunities is damned sick. This time it was almost Jacko-style, dangling her outside his mummy's window. I'm sure Gerrard loves his kids but he doesn't drag them in front of the cameras every time he needs a bit of positive PR. I'm only surprised Suarez hasn't yet strapped her to his back so they can play the 90 minutes together.

Well, FIFA definitely lead by example when it comes to deflecting 'misdemeanours' with bad excuses.

Suarez is making a joke out of himself. All that effort last season has been completely undone. He should read the press about James Rodriguez today and think to himself "that could've been me". It's funny for other people but surely he wants to be thought of as a footballer rather than some odd cartoonish character.

He wants to do what he wants. That's it. The good people in the world are the ones who let him do it. The evil ones are the ones that don't. I'd imagine even Pingu's Critique of Pure Reason would be a more mature ethical guide than anything in this twit's noddle.

The "I tripped" excuse is about as believable as when it is used at A&E with a milk bottle stuck up your arse.

A friend of a friend is a radiologist and one day an old boy came in for a stomach x-ray. When the x-ray developed she noticed there was a glass bottle up his jacksie. Turned out to be old spice in the end.

That condition is known in Italian as 'innuendo'.

Macca, you don't know why he does what he does, you don't know what he thinks or why he thinks it, you don't know what he wants or doesn't, you are simply assigning values to an unknown quantity. You are only speculating and putting your spin on things and you may be 100% correct or 100% wrong or indeed anywhere on that sliding scale.

My guess is he is not the one controlling / deciding the responses in Brazil/Uruguay simply because it doesn't seem credible that Uruguay would then just simply fall into liine and follow his lead, indeed it is the Uruguay FA and manager that have responded with rather extreme rhetoric whilst Suarez has remained somewhat stoic.

Wow, thanks for the tutorial, professor! I think I'll stick with my position that's vulnerable to the first year sceptic, rather than your one that's vulnerable to the first year sceptic. Now I'll leave you to stare back into the abyss.

Ok mate - your hate his guts and are convinced everything he for nefarious reasons ... I get it, even his charity work etc ... We'll just agree to disagree because at the end of the day, we can agree that he's behaved like a cunt.

Yep. He came out onto the balcony to greet the press and basically hid behind his children. It was incredibly distasteful. I really hope Barca's interest is genuine.

Yes, obviously I'm not knocking him for loving his kids, which I'm sure he does, but really, when you're likely to face thousands of people who might well boo you and shout obscenities at you, as was the danger, for example, when he emerged from the tunnel after last summer's shenanigans, would you really think, 'I know, I'll expose my little daughter to this'. No offense meant. I just find it really dubious behaviour, which makes sense far more for him than for her.

I thought we'd already established he doesn't think.

I don't need to. I've decided that instead of taking a definitive position on one side of the fence or the other on something which can not be proven conclusively (by us at least) I'm just going to sit on it and eat my popcorn watching others blow a valve here and there. Good to see you letting off steam.

Lesson for smug relativists: that gun shoots bullets in both directions at once. You'll hit your target just at the moment you blow your own head off.
