When Lee Dixon did his starting XI from our sqaud and United's he picked VDS ahead of Pepe.
What a fucking tool. Forget the rest of his team, which was a fucking joke btw, picking that cunt ahead of Pepe is just insane.
I rated Dixon as pundit up until that. Maybe it was just a blip.

I think quite a few of our players are underrated by non-LFC fans and the media; Arbeloa, Reina, Kuyt, Skrtel are all too often overlooked.

No, it isn't really. I acknowledge an improvement in his game, but he is still not good enough for a top four club. Go to 1.04 of this video. This isn't an isolated incident either.

No, it isn't really. I acknowledge an improvement in his game, but he is still not good enough for a top four club. Go to 1.04 of this video. This isn't an isolated incident either.

So what? He's hardly the first keeper to be deceived by a Ronaldo freekick.
He's not among the top echelons of keepers but they perception that he's "shit" is clearly wrong, IMO. He's had some fine games for Arsenal in the last few seasons.

Reina is currently the best keeper in the league IMO. Vds is a load of bollocks and Cech has never been the same since he had his head caved in. The old Cech pre the accident was a different kettle of fish.
I read a stat somewhere that during that little record breaking run of Vds's, he only had to make 9 saves in the 12 games or whatever!
