A Chinese man has divorced his wife and sued her for being too ugly. What's more he won and has reportedly been awarded a settlement of $120,000.
Jiang Feng's marital problems appear to have started when his daughter was born. Far from experiencing the usual parental attachment, Feng uncharitably described his new progeny as "incredibly ugly", according to a Fox31 report. He reportedly accused his wife of having an affair, so convinced was he that an unattractive child could not have come from his gene pool.
Feng with his new daughter, how it didn't look
But his wife revealed there was a far more unexpected explanation. She had undergone extensive plastic surgery in South Korea before they met to the tune of $100k (£60k), which she had kept secret from him.
Feng sued her for divorce, claiming that she had convinced him to marry her under false pretences. And apparently the court agreed with him and awarded him $120k
