Anyone watching?

What's your picks?

Main card
• Heavyweight bout: Roy Nelson vs. Junior dos Santos
• Welterweight bout: Matt Hughes vs. Ricardo Almeida
• Lightweight bout: Clay Guida vs. Rafael dos Anjos
• Catchweight bout (171.5 Ibs): Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves
• Middleweight Championship bout: Anderson Silva (c) vs. Chael Sonnen

I've got:

JDS - 2nd round KO.
Almeida - Decision
Guida - Decision.
Fitch - Decision.
Silva - 2nd round Submission. Embarrassing 1st round KO. Or 2nd round TKO (after being toyed with for a round). Basically Sonnen will get to choose his poison depending on whether he can get an early takedown or not whilst Anderson is getting his timing down.

*SPOILER*

Good PPV in the end.

The main event was a shock. Sonnen backed up his talk, but Silva showed the heart of a champion to stick in there to end. He got beat up but still pulled out the win.

I think Silva showed signs of age tonight, and his next fight against Belfort might be the end of his reign as champion as Vitor hits twice as hard as Chael and twice as fast. The huge shock being that Chael was winning the standup!

Silva's next fight will be Sonnen again, I would think.

This was a much better PPV than the last, unless you like a stupid bloodfest.

I don't think you get old overnight. I believe Silva when he says he didn't come in at 100% due to rib injury. I also think that Sonnen didn't work to pass guard enough, pretty much throughout the whole fight. I didn't think he did that much in dominant positions, and he was absolutely stupid to not either play more aggressively and pass to half guard in the fifth, or play more conservatively and just lay on Silva once he had position. He did neither, left an arm dangling and that's all you need to do.

Rib injury? Yeah, that would make sense.

This was one of the worst performances i've seen from him. His usual footwork, standup and elusiveness was non existant tonight. Even when he rocked Sonnen badly with an elbow, he started winging wide punches like i've never seen him do before. His crisp boxing/standup just wasn't there and at times it seemed like he was happy to just eat shots from Sonnen.

A very strange performance on the whole. Would like to see a rematch with Anderson at 100%.

Sonnen delivered his best performance ever and still lost. He's sloppy.

Look at his record, losses by submission, wins by decision. He didn't consistently try to advance, and didn't close the fight. If you work in the guard and get tired, by the last couple rounds you'll leave a punch in there and it'll get grabbed for an armbar, or a triangle.

Anderson has good but not godly BJJ, and still submitted him, having been working for submissions all night. The UFC is littered with wrestlers who dominate fights, and can take down their opponent, and push them around at will, but will always lose the odd fight to submission.

I don't think Anderson will fight that poorly again, and I don't think Sonnen will do as well next fight. It'll be fascinating to see though, because rib injury or not, Chael is not a good matchup for Anderson.

The main event was just bizarre. We were pretty much convinced the fight was fixed for large portions of watching. Still have no idea what was actually happening. Anderson looked like a shell of himself, with zero takedown defence, got outstruck on his feet, didn't close guard, let go of at least two submission attempts for no reason. Really strange.

And yes, Sonnen is sloppy. I was pleasantly surprised that he actually made a fight of it and very disappointed that he lost. Despite having money on Silva.
