From yesterday

Anfield was amazing today, thanks all the Reds supporters. This victory will give the team a lot of confidence to keep going. Well done reds. I am going to sleep because I am really tired today, tomorrow we start to think in the next game. Good Night #happy.
Lucas Leiva

An indication of what can happen when this group comes together as one? The second goal was perfection. Learned what a very clean sheet is.
John W. Henry

Didn't believe it was possible, but Anfield was even more electric and exciting than what I got to experience on Thursday... We had some Red Sox folks there for their first match & they were also blown away by the passion, humor, and power of LFC supporters. The energy of the Kop helped LFC shut out Chelsea - the first ranked EPL club - for LFC's fourth consecutive victory. Spectacular.
Linda Pizzuti

Torres has now scored 44 league goals in 47 games at Anfield. An incredible record given his injury problems
Ben Smith, The Times

Lucas has misplaced eight passes in the last four games. That, in any league and at any level, is phenomenal. Lack of praise deafening.

Rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. Get in!

Have got bruised calves now. Must have been some good celebrations today.
Paul Gardner, Spirit of Shankly

@LucasLeiva87 great job today Lucas. You were by far the Man of the Match
Keith Costigan, Fox Soccer

Terrific day. Torres on fire, @LucasLeiva87 Man of the Match, Pepe shows he is the best keeper around and #MOTD will make good viewing!
Dominic King, Liverpool Echo

Roy Hodgson was asked about his ups and downs since arriving at #LFC Reply: "What ups are you talking about?" Nice touch
Oliver Kay, The Times

Get iiiiiin! 1-0 Red Men. #bounceonthecouch
Paul Dalglish, The King's son

Wow. Sensational goal from Torres, curled inside far post from corner of penalty area. Slightly Dalglish-esque. 2-0 nearly HT
Oliver Kay, The Times

@LucasLeiva87 You were boss today kid
Thomas Fairclough, Son of David!

Asked about the music coming from the dressing rooms. RH: "No, that must be some discotheque nearby."
Jimmy Rice, LFC.TV Writer

I love lucas and I'im not ashamed to admit it!
Paul Salt, LFC TV Presenter

Well in Reds, more of that please! Lucas, Meireles and Kelly superb for me. And what a goal by Torres. General effort and energy brilliant.
Robbohuyton, Well Red Editor

Roy got the first half spot on and we held on well in the second. Torres was awesome but special mention for Lucas, surely?
Scouserinexile, LFC.TV writer

Jim Boardman and Andy Heaton are also somene worth following Mark. Both are excellent.

"There must be some discotheque nearby"
