Apparently, as usual, we are linked along with Arsenal. Can't see this happening if we sign Willian. Isn't he a wideman?

a) Atleti won't sell him - they have a really good team, even without Falcao (watch out for Oscar Torres - he's going to be next big thing), and will most likely finish top 4 (Simeone is a great young head coach too).
b) We've been linked with him since he was 23 ... it will stop when he retires I hope.

Turkish international eyes move to Merseyside...
Galatasaray midfielder Arda Turan has revealed he would be interested in a move to Liverpool.

The Turkey international has voiced his desire to play overseas in the past, and the Merseyside club would seem to be his preferred destinations.

"Of course I want to play abroad but it is our board's decision," the 23-year-old told uefa.com.

"As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition.

"In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them."

Reports have linked Turan with a move to Anfield in the past.

The Turk is an ambitious player who is keen to play for big club, but he maintains that his primary concern at the moment is to keep improving as a player.

"My dream has always been to play for one of the top European clubs, but you shouldn't make concrete plans in your life because sometimes these plans cannot be achieved," he added.

"This is my dream, but for now I'm just working on my football."

It isn't out of the realm of possibility for us to go for him should the Willian deal fall through IMO.
