Me and my friends are seriously looking into a long trip to Asia early next year. We're gonna fly to NZ cos we can get out for free, then onto Oz and into Asia
What are the essential, you'd-regret-it-if you didn't go kinda countries?
I'm thinking of going Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Myanmar (is this possible? What's the military dealio there?), Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, then onto China, South Korea and Japan
Is it possible to get to places like Tibet and is North Korea as dangerous as it's hyped? Appreciate any advice anyone has
Also, the must visit places in India and China would be good. Looking at Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata in India, and at least Shanghai and Beijing in China but don't know much about anywhere else
